Customizable AI agents from Treasure are now officially live on Ronin. The new feature allows players to spawn autonomous characters that fish, cook, and claim in-game rewards, all while you're offline. The integration starts with Fishing Frenzy, a Ronin-based idle game, and opens the door to more games soon.

Fishing Frenzy

Your NFT Buddy Now Does the Work

Players can now turn eligible NFTs into smart, interactive bots by visiting agents.treasure.lol. These bots, or "agents", can take on in-game tasks like fishing, collecting rewards, using baits, eating sushi, and even cooking. As long as you've reached the right level in the game, your agent will keep playing for you.

"This is the first version of Treasure agents in Fishing Frenzy. Based on usage and community feedback, we’ll continue expanding the experience over time — including features like agent marketplace trading, agents as scholars, and much more," said the Treasure team.

To get started, you'll need to connect your Ronin Wallet and spend 150 $MAGIC (around $40). Once activated, your agent can begin casting lines and gathering rewards in Fishing Frenzy, with full logs showing what they've done. You can also give them a personality by either customizing it or using a preset based on popular figures like Agent YP, Cagy, and Kyroh.

Fishing Frenzy Just Got Smarter

Treasure agents are now fully linked with Fishing Frenzy. Once you create your agent, it can perform a wide range of actions. It will cast lines one at a time or in batches, use baits for better fish, eat sushi to restore energy, and claim daily and quest rewards automatically.

After Level 15, your agent unlocks the ability to cook food. Reach Level 30, and it can even dive underwater. Each of these tasks is automated, saving you hours of clicking and helping you move through the game faster.

You can access these options through the agent's page, which also tracks your leaderboard rank, level, inventory, and in-game progress in real-time.

Customizing Your Agent is Simple

Making your own Treasure agent only takes a few steps. First, go to agents.treasure.lol and link your Ronin Wallet. Next, click "My Agents" in the corner, choose your NFT or a preset KOL bot, and select the agent's personality.

Once done, pay 150 $MAGIC to activate. You'll need to approve three separate transactions: one for approval, one for withdrawal, and one for spawning.

You can also talk directly with your agent through a chat feature on the same platform. Editing their personality later costs 40 $MAGIC.

Each action your agent does in-game uses a small amount of $MAGIC. For example, a fishing run might burn just 0.005 $MAGIC. You'll need to top up your agent's balance over time.

How to Get $MAGIC on Ronin

There are three main ways to get $MAGIC on Ronin. First, you can use the Katana DEX to swap tokens. Second, you can use the new cross-chain swap feature in the Ronin Wallet browser extension. Third, you can bridge $MAGIC from other networks using Treasure's bridge tool.

To use the cross-chain swap, open your wallet extension, go to Swap, toggle Arbitrum One on, and pick "Receive." From there, select "MAGIC" as the token, enter your amount, and hit swap. You'll now have $MAGIC on Ronin, ready to use.

Link Your Agent to Fishing Frenzy

Once your agent is ready and loaded with $MAGIC, you can link it to Fishing Frenzy. On the agent's page, scroll down to the Fishing Frenzy section and connect your wallet. Make sure to log into the game using the same method you normally do: wallet, email, or SMS.

If you use a different login, it might create a brand-new game account. To fix that, clear your Fishing Frenzy and Privy cache or cookies and remove the token from your agent first.

Once connected, you can choose from several deployment options and watch your agent go to work.

More Than Just Fishing

Treasure's agents aren't only limited to in-game tasks. They also offer web research tools and real-time blockchain data. You can ask your agent to look up crypto news, check token prices, track NFTs, or even scrape info from Twitter.

Supported features include:

  • Web search
  • Token lookup and crypto price checks
  • NFT collection info
  • Trending coins
  • Ronin-based game search
  • Social media data from X

These tools add extra value to your agent outside of just gameplay, turning it into a full assistant that can follow your instructions and help with tasks on- and off-chain.

NFTs You Can Use to Spawn Agents

You can't use just any NFT to make a Treasure agent. At the time of writing, supported NFT collections include:

  • Axie Infinity
  • Fishing Frenzy Founders Pass
  • Ronke
  • Cyberkongz Genkai
  • Cyberkongz VX
  • CAG
  • Kanstars

Treasure has promised that more NFT collections and games will be supported soon. That means more types of agents doing more types of tasks across the Ronin ecosystem.

A Closer Look at Treasure's AI Strategy

Treasure's move into AI began in April 2025. That's when they started shifting from pure gaming into agent-based tools. At the heart of this new system is Neurochimp, a custom AI framework. This tech gives each agent memory, context, and a defined personality, allowing it to make choices and interact naturally.

Back in February 2025, Treasure revealed Mage, their AI agent launchpad built on a framework called Eliza. Mage lets users spawn agents across multiple blockchains. Each bot has its own wallet and is powered by $MAGIC, which acts like "mana" in this system.

With Mage and Neurochimp, Treasure moved from just making web3 games to building AI-driven systems that work in any digital world: games, finance, or even social spaces.

The AI Agent Creator was released a few months later. It gave players the ability to turn select NFTs into active, chatty characters who could take part in online games and other digital systems, powered entirely by the $MAGIC token.

What's Next for Treasure and Ronin

This launch is just one part of a much larger shift happening in the Ronin ecosystem. Sky Mavis, the creator of Ronin, has also announced a $300K Innovation Grant for apps building on its platform. New DeFi projects are also coming online, making Ronin a full-featured web3 platform, not just a game chain.

To talk more about where this is all going, a special AMA is happening today, August 12 at 10:00 UTC+8. Founders from Treasure (John Patten), Sky Mavis (Jihoz), and Uncharted (Derek Lau) will join to share updates on the alliance and what it means for web3 gamers.

Treasure's integration with Fishing Frenzy is only the first step. More games, more agent features, and broader web3 tools are all on the way.
