Tollan Worlds Expands Into Tollan Universe Ecosystem

Foretold Studios has announced that they are expanding their Tollan Worlds IP by introducing an ecosystem of action adventure games: Tollan Universe.

Why the Expansion?

The transition from having a single game in development to effectively rebranding into a whole ecosystem comes as a result of the connections the studio managed to establish at the OTK Games Expo. After having their unique action RPG showcased there, the project garnered significant interest among viewers, experienced developers and third-party studios. The team hired people who have previously worked for Bandai Namco, Capcom, Paradox Interactive and many more, while developers from third-party studios expressed interest in creating works based on Tollan IP. Thanks to these studios, the IP has now expanded into its own ecosystem, while the core upgraded team continues to be focused on developing the main flagship game that will keep the same name from before.

In a developer diary published by OTK Games Expo, Foretold Studios Founder & CEO Michael Kuvshynov announced the first game that will be released in this ecosystem: Tollan Survivors.

Tollan Survivors is a 2D action roguelite game based on the addicting gameplay of indie hit Vampire Survivors. It’ll be playable solo and in co-op, and you can look forward to it launching in early access at some point in Q3 2024. This was previously referred to as Project S, with a summary of last month’s community call in Discord teasing that Genesis Avatars will have utility for holders to enjoy in the upcoming title.

Tollan Worlds is already playable in a pre-alpha demo state on web browsers and through the Elixir Games Launcher. It also has a new pre-alpha gameplay trailer.
