Tokyo Beast has officially launched its Special Early Access event, giving 3,000 select players an exclusive first look at its high-stakes 4v4 battler ahead of the global release. This week-long campaign, which runs through June 8, also features a $160K prize pool split among daily lottery winners, making it one of the most lucrative pre-launch events in web3 gaming.
The Special Early Access event went live on June 1, and is accessible only to those who secured a special serial code. While applications are now closed, players can still obtain access through game night giveaways, Twitter KOLs, or the official Tokyo Beast Discord.
Participants will have the chance to compete in "Matchup" mode, a 4v4 auto-battler that determines early Beast Rankings. The game limits access to 3,000 players, increasing each participant's chances of securing part of the $160K in lottery rewards. Players can earn daily entries by completing missions, consuming stamina, and logging in consistently.
Apart from in-game prizes, players can enter a social campaign called "Share Your Lottery Win." By reposting any Tokyo Beast content using the hashtag #SEA_EARN, 30 winners will each receive $70 worth of TGT tokens. Posting a screenshot of a lottery win with the #SEA_EARN and #TokyoBeast hashtags will enter players into a draw for $350 TGT.
Once in, players will dive into the Matchup mode using a team of four BEASTs. These matches are fully automated as players select and position their squad in advance, then watch the game unfold as strategy and synergy determine the winner. The goal is to reduce the opposing team's HP to zero.
Players gain Beast Gacha points and LV-UP mods through daily logins and gameplay. These rewards can be used to upgrade their BEASTs and improve their standing on the leaderboard.
You can also join the Immutable Discord for a chance to play. Ex-Fornite pro and web3 gamer @xButko98 will be hosting a Game Night on June 6, giving us a glimpse of the Matchup gameplay.
Tokyo Beast is a futuristic auto-battler strategy game set in a reimagined Tokyo in the year 2124. Here, sentient androids called replicants coexist with humans. The game features BEASTs: genetically enhanced replicant NFTs that players can collect, train, and upgrade for combat. These BEASTs compete in XENO-Karate, a competitive sport that combines martial arts and strategic combat.
The game is split into two main components: BASE and TRIALS. In BASE, players manage their NFT BEASTs, stake the native Tokyo Games Token (TGT), and breed new combatants. TRIALS is the PvP arena where matches take place, including the "Matchup," "Arena," and "Championship" modes. The platform also has prediction mechanics, allowing viewers to bet on outcomes using in-game currency.
Notably, Tokyo Beast is free to play. No crypto wallet or NFT is needed, making it accessible to web2 and web3 players. The game will be available on Immutable when it officially launches on June 8.
The Special Early Access event is the latest in a series of strategic rollouts. In April, Tokyo Beast ran a closed beta tournament featuring 200 players, with $20,000 in TGT prizes. The winner took home $10,000, while another $10K was given out via a social prediction campaign. To build hype, Tokyo Beast opened pre-registration earlier this year and revealed a $1 million championship event.
May saw the official launch of the Tokyo Games Token (TGT), the lifeblood of the ecosystem. TGT is used for staking, breeding, prediction markets, and in-game upgrades. Prior to this, the team released a TGT VIP Card NFT (only 500 of which exist), granting holders early access, exclusive drops, and priority on airdrops and future events.
In March, Tokyo Beast announced a key partnership with Immutable to power up its in-game economy and tournament systems. The collaboration itself is a critical step in scaling the game to a global audience.
With its full release set for June 8, Tokyo Beast is gearing up for a packed content calendar. The Special Early Access event is not just a soft launch, it's a real-time opportunity for players to influence early leaderboards, explore game mechanics, and walk away with a piece of the $160K prize pool.
