The Sandbox has officially opened submissions for the Autumn Vibes VoxEdit contest, giving creators a chance to create assets inspired by the season.
For this VoxEdit contest, the goal is to create an autumn-inspired asset. This could be “an NPC all kitted out in their best autumn clothes,” an “amazing hot drink stand with pumpkin lattes,” or whatever is in tune with this season.
Submissions opened on October 4th and will close on October 22nd at 11:59 PM UTC, with the results set to be announced on November 18th.
In order to participate, you’ll have to make a GIF of asset, fully animated. You should then tweet the asset’s GIF, with the tweet mentioning @VoxEdit and @TheSandboxGame, while including the hashtag #VoxEditWeekly. Last but not least, you’ll need to also out fill out a Google Form found in the official announcement.
For this contest, there are prizes in the form of SAND tokens, awarded to the top 10 entries in 2 separate categories: the Regular Category, and the Beginner Category.
In the Regular Category, there is a prize pool of 15k $SAND, with the winner set to receive 6000 $SAND, while those ranked from 4th to 10th get 500 $SAND each. As for the Beginner Category, the prize pool is 5000 $SAND, with the winner earning 1500 $SAND, while places 4th to 10th each end up with 250 $SAND. Prizes are sent on the Polygon network.
It’s important to note that in order to rank in the top 5 in either category, you need to be KYC’d or have the status of a verified creator. For 6th to 10th place, no KYC is needed. To be a verified creator, you need to have participated in 5 contests and earned a place in the top 10 on one occasion. A verified creator can also be someone who has a studio that is linked to a GMF (Game Maker Fund) account.
