Following the announcement of the token launch, the team behind the Ethereum-based Layer 2 network has revealed that its core utility token, the MYRIA token, is now officially live on several exchanges, including OKX, KuCoin, Gate, MEXC, Bitmart & Uniswap. This marks a major milestone for the company, as the MYRIA token will play a crucial role in promoting the adoption of Web3 gaming for both developers and players.

MYRIA is an ERC-20 utility token that has been fully audited by Hacken, which deployed intelligent code analysis to remove any vulnerabilities in the system before launch. The MYRIA token will serve as the native token for the Myria blockchain, with a hard-capped limit of 50 billion Myria tokens in circulation.

The MYRIA token has many use cases, including as a protocol fee for every Myria transaction, a means of purchasing Myria Nodes, a staking mechanism, and as a governance mechanism for the Myria blockchain. In addition, the MYRIA token will be used by many of the games on the Myria blockchain, with its utility expanding as more titles join the ecosystem.

To celebrate the launch of the MYRIA token, Myria has announced an Alliance Key NFT Airdrop, offering gamers NFTs that offer in-game utility. This is the second major airdrop, and Myria community members are invited to participate.

Myria has also experienced significant growth over the past year, with over a million users registered on the platform, and more than 250 gaming projects built on the Myria platform. The Myria NFT marketplace and the Myria Layer 2 Wallet have gone live, and Myria’s video game studio, Myria Studios, has released Metarush in an alpha stage.

According to the official announcement, with the MYRIA token now officially live, the Myria network will be stepping into a new realm of true decentralization, and the fast-growing community of node operators will start receiving MYRIA rewards in exchange for securing the network. As the advantages of Web3 over Web2 games become increasingly clear, Myria anticipates more developers, studios, and players will migrate across to its platform.
