The Machines Arena (TMA) is set to kick off Beta Season 1 on July 11, marking a significant milestone in the game's live operations. The launch brings a major game client update, unveiling a reworked player vs. environment (PVE) mode, an all-new player vs. player (PVP) map, and Beta Rewards in the form of collectible character skins.
TMA has also been added to the Ronin Network's Mavis Hub. This will enable players to mint their collectible skins into non-fungible tokens (NFTs) on the Ronin network. As the game progresses towards version 1.0, rewards obtained during the Closed Beta phase will become increasingly desirable as they will no longer be obtainable.
During Beta Season 1, players will have the opportunity to unlock unique character skins as Beta Rewards. These rewards can be obtained based on players' account level, with experience points (XP) earned through Quick Play or the challenging Death Run mode. Additionally, Loyalty Rewards will be available exclusively to early adopters, creators, and specific player groups, further enhancing the sense of community within TMA.
Beta Season 1 of The Machines Arena brings a range of new features and improvements to the game. Players can expect a revamped 'Death Run' PVE mode, the introduction of a new protagonist named XE, the inclusion of player companion NPCs called 'Familiars,' and an updated meta map for selecting difficulty levels. The client update also introduces weapon and ability XP, shields and armor mechanics, and various quality of life changes. Additionally, players can enjoy the new Detonation mode shortly after the game's release.
