Announced earlier this month, the Cryptoverse Early Access Playtest is now officially live.
Launched today, January 25th at 3 PM CET, this early version lets selected participants explore the 3D metaverse by foot or by car while engaging in various activities and events, the latter giving testers the opportunity to earn rewards every day.
On January 20th, the developers sent out emails to those who have been accepted to take part in this playtest, which lets players not only explore a world made in the Unreal Engine, but also enjoy key activities that include avatar customization, tinkering about with a real-time builder tool over at the Building Area, attending presentations held by the team in the Auditorium and driving a variety of different cars. Apart from using vehicles to explore, players can also take part in car time trials over at the racing track, competing for the fastest time.
Various events will be held throughout the playtest, with the first two already underway on launch. The first event is a special presentation held by co-founder Robbie Cochrane, while the second is a selfie competition that gives players a chance to win a part of the $250 USDT reward pool by taking “awesome selfies while exploring the Central Business District Area.” Those who attend the presentation that is “running on the big central screen in Cryptoverse” will be given an exclusive POAP reward.
