TerraQuest, a pixelated 2D MMO, is now officially live in public alpha, available for free to download on Windows and Mac.
Public Alpha Details
Anyone interested in trying out this early version of the blockchain title and help test it out can now do so by downloading it from the official website. As this is an alpha release, everything is still subject to change before the official launch, so accounts made for this testing period might end up getting reset.
There are a couple of things you can do in the game’s current state. These include exploring a charming town with buildings that you can enter, but if you’re feeling more adventurous, then you can take your shovel and head out into the forest, an ever-changing dynamic environment featuring various resources to collect. If you’re going to find some valuable resources though, you’re going to need the TerraSight-1000. This is a resource detector which scans for any hidden goodies within a certain range while you’re exploring with the tool equipped. Once you’re close, it’s time to take out your shovel and find out what lies beneath you.

After you got yourself packed with loot from the forest, it’s to head back in town and craft some Costumes. If you’re looking to make a unique appearance for yourself, then you’ll be looking to craft some of these, not just for yourself, but also for your cute pet as well. For this version though, equipping is not an option. This kind of cosmetic clothing will also be possible to mint into NFTs should you want to have complete ownership and the option to trade them with other players, according to an official post.
