Spekter Agency, a new web3 roguelite built for Telegram, is now live in Open Beta. The game launches along with a major funding milestone, with Spekter Games Inc. announcing a $5 million pre-seed funding round. The round includes high-profile backers such as a16z Speedrun, London Venture Partners, BRV Capital, and more.
This release marks the official start of Spekter Agency, as all player progress from this point forward will be saved. It also signals the broader rollout of Spekter's gameplay systems, reward mechanics, and social features tailored for Telegram's massive user base.
Spekter Agency: What the Game Is About
Spekter Agency is a fast-paced, roguelite arcade shooter inspired by the likes of Vampire Survivors. Built with web3 rewards in the background, the game offers mobile-first gameplay directly inside Telegram through the Mini Apps platform. It allows for instant play and seamless onboarding, even for users unfamiliar with blockchain gaming.
In Spekter Agency, you'll clear waves of enemies, upgrade your character's build with new items, and progress through increasingly difficult stages. Now in Open Beta, the game introduces persistent progression, a new level system, expanded item mechanics, and more dynamic ways to earn the in-game reward point called Sparks.

What's New in the Open Beta
The Open Beta brings several gameplay upgrades. The new Agent Progression system adds account levels that grow through completed missions. These levels will soon unlock passive abilities that boost performance in battles, offering long-term depth to progression.
Another major update is Spark Core 2.0. Players now earn Sparks more quickly as they push through higher stages. The further you go, the more Sparks you receive per day, scaling from 480 Sparks at Stage 1 to much higher amounts at Stage 50 and beyond.
The game now supports up to Stage 50, providing players more ground to cover. Each stage comes with increasing difficulty and richer rewards.

Item and Inventory Systems Now Live
Spekter Agency also introduces a full item system, with gear categorized by rarity tiers from Common to Legendary. Items can be leveled up using Gold and Power Stones, allowing agents to build specialized loadouts for offense, defense, or utility. The new Inventory System makes it easy to manage equipment across multiple slots, such as weapons, armor, and accessories. This offers more control over playstyle and performance during missions.
Each item not only boosts stats but also helps define your character build, with strategic combos offering deeper tactical decisions.
Stage Rewards and Progression
Players can now earn rewards not just for first-time clears, but also for repeated runs. These rewards include Gold for upgrades, items to enhance gear, Power Stones, and XP to level up the Spark Core.
Spark Link 2.0 Adds Social Incentives
What's more, referral bonuses have been upgraded. With Spark Link 2.0, players earn Sparks not just when friends join using their link, but also as those friends complete specific stages. Based on the latest update, a successful recruit can earn you up to 9,500 Sparks if they reach Stage 50.
How to Join the Open Beta
Spekter Agency is now live on Telegram. To start playing, you can simply tap into the game here. All new players will get a welcome bonus of 2,500 Sparks just for entering the game.

The Bigger Vision: Spekter Games and Web3
Spekter Games is the studio behind Spekter Agency, founded by gaming industry veteran Taehoon Kim. TK previously led nWay and built games like Power Rangers: Legacy Wars, later acquired by Animoca Brands. At Spekter, he's focusing on games that combine strong mobile-first gameplay with passive web3 incentives.
"We're building games that people love for the gameplay, not just the rewards," said TK. "Web3 incentives can supercharge retention and virality, but they should never get in the way of the fun."
The $5 million in new funding will support scaling the game across Telegram, other chat-based super apps, and traditional mobile stores. It will also fund the development of Spekter's next game, which is already in production.
