Tales of Elleria, a 3D blockchain RPG on Arbitrum One, is getting updated with various new features on Monday, November 27th at 4 AM UTC.
The upcoming update will mark the launch of the equipment system and Ancient Ruins. Next to these new additions, there will be revamped regions, an overhaul of the battle system, crafting changes, as well as various quality of life improvements, optimizations and bug fixes.
This new equipment system brings 3 types of equipment to the game: charms, circlets, and guards. Every type has 3 different rarity tiers, and you can craft these items using $MAGIC tokens, monster parts, and specific molds. Which materials you need and the quantity of tokens varies from tier to tier, with the first tier requiring a T1 mold, 5 $MAGIC tokens, and 1 monster drop. For T2, you need a T2 mold, 10 $MAGIC, and 1 monster drop, while the third tier requires a T3 mold, 25 $MAGIC, and 1 monster drop. Players can acquire equipment molds through quests in certain regions, but also by buying them from the Adventurer’s Guild shop.
Once you craft an equipment, its stats will be randomly generated depending on the range its tier allows, making each gear unique. You can further upgrade your equipment using medals and $ELM.
Ancient Ruins represents the newest region of this Web3 title, with the announcement referring to it as a “primary source for $ELM, Gems, and Metals.” It consists of Peblet’s Path, Boulden’s Border, and Golem’s Grudge missions. Each requires 1 Hero but differs in preparation fees while having similar difficulty levels.
