Mobile gaming ecosystem Super Champs has launched Season 1 of its play-and-earn campaign during which players can compete for $CHAMP tokens by playing its 2 mobile games while doing various social media activities.
Participants have a chance of earning the native token of the anime-inspired world that is the multimedia Super Champs Universe by completing a variety of social and gameplay-based Quests to earn Quest Points. Once the season ends, you’ll be able to convert these points into the ecosystem’s token, which is set to have its TGE in Q3 2024, according to the roadmap. While it’s not quite clear when this first season will end, it does look like there will be multiple seasons to participate in for token rewards.
The games through which players can complete a wide range of different Quests include Racket Rampage and Bullet League.
Racket Rampage is the ecosystem’s first mobile game, a free-to-play multiplayer tennis RPG in which you play as various different customizable Champ characters that each have their own unique playstyle. Complete challenges and earn new gear to equip your character with, upgrading both to increase their stats for a better chance at winning intense PvP matches and battles against challenging AI foes.
Bullet League is a 2.5D action-packed battle royale with platforming and run & gun based gameplay. Available as a free-to-play title, players unlock various characters and collect a variety of weapons with bullet physics and recoil system as you use destructible buildings to your advantage in a variety of game modes: Solo, Squad, Deathmatch and Booty Grab. Solo has you battle in 32-player free-for-all tournaments, while Squad lets you team up with other players to win the team-based battle royale match together. If you’re not feeling like playing the two battle royale modes, you can also jump in fast-paced 3-minute Deathmatch fun, or enjoy various new tournament formats in the Booty Grab mode that features a “unique treasure hunt twist.”
If you check out the Quests section of the official website, you’ll see 4 types of Quests: Kickoff Quests, Seasonal Quests, Daily Quests and Genesis NFT Quests.
Kickoff Quests are simple beginner tasks designed to get you into the ecosystem's games while encouraging you to engage on social media. This means you can get points for activities such as logging in the first time, following an X account, commenting on a specific post, retweeting, posting a tweet and playing a match of each of the studio's Web3 titles.
Seasonal Quests also contain a mix of gameplay and social media-based missions, adding on to the Kickoff Quests by introducing a referral system where you can earn certain amounts of Quest Points by referring friends who need to gain a specific number of Quest Points in order for you to gain your share of points. More specific gameplay tasks are included here, such as winning 5 matches with any Legendary gear in Racket Rampage, opening 5 Cryo Boxes in Bullet League, and so on.
To reward player activity and social media engagement even more, there are also Daily Quests that you’ll want to do plenty of each day to have a better chance of winning a higher token allocation. Based on what’s available at the time of writing, points here are awarded for logging in daily, linking and retweeting posts, making Gear upgrades, getting a certain number of kills in Bullet League, and more.
Last but not least are Genesis NFT Quests. There are 3 quests owners can do here, one of which simply awards 2000 Quest Points for each Genesis NFT owned. This ownership-based Quest also seems to award Genesis points, which were earnable in Genesis Pre-Season quests and can bring exclusive NFT holder rewards. Bonus Quest Points are awarded to holders who held their NFT for one year and for over two years.
The final available Quest rewards owners with daily points for staking their assets. This NFT staking feature actually opened quite recently, rewarding stakers instantly with 200 Quest Points, followed by daily rewards of 10 Quest Points. Since you can stake multiple Genesis NFTs at the same time, this means you can get more points every day depending on the number of assets staked, as each staked NFT gives you 10 daily Quest Points.
