Sunflower Land has released fresh details on Bumpkin deposits, Hoot's utility, blind auction system, and two new maps featuring Pumpkin Plaza and Woodlands.
To begin, the developers have deployed a new feature that allows players to deposit their Bumpkins instantly. Bumpkin is a playable character that can be minted once for free and used for farming and mining in Sunflower Land. With the latest update, players can get right into the game and equip their avatars with wearables.
In the coming days, the team will reveal the Pumpkin Plaza and Woodlands. They are now putting the final touches on key NPCs like Raven, Bug-Eyed Bert, Cornwell, and others, and will introduce new scenes to explore, such as the rustic Windmill, Betty's Home, and Igor's Home.
The latest announcement also includes the first utility for Hoot, a mysterious Owl obtained through the Dawn Breaker event. According to Thought Farm, the creator of Sunflower Land, Hoot will provide a +0.5 boost to any overnight crops that take over 24 hours to harvest. This is a must-have for any farmer who enjoys planning ahead to reap huge rewards.
The new Blind Auction system will enter beta testing this week, bringing a whole new level of excitement. The developers also shipped some improvements to the smart contracts, which significantly reduced the gas fees when purchasing block bucks or performing withdrawals.
No doubt, Sunflower Land has been expanding its gameplay experience in recent months. Just in May, the game introduced a seasonal event called Dawn Breaker, which allows players to take part in exciting quests and gain new collectibles to develop their virtual farms.
