The world of crypto gaming is heating up, and Sui is leading the charge. The team behind the high-speed network has just revealed a wave of new titles heading to the platform this year — and it looks like they're ready to change the game.
Sui's announcement confirms the platform's goal to push web3 gaming beyond gimmicks, finally shipping fast, fun, and player-friendly blockchain games. The upcoming lineup includes a wide range of genres, from social casino games and card battlers to action-packed shooters and cozy farming sims. Most of these games will also launch on Sui's upcoming handheld console, the SuiPlay0X1, which aims to bridge web2 and web3 gaming.
A New Era of Blockchain Gaming
Since its Mainnet launch, Sui has built a reputation for its speed and scalability. Developed by Mysten Labs, the network was designed to support on-chain apps and games without the usual headaches like long wait times or expensive fees. With dynamic NFTs and near-instant transaction speeds, Sui makes it easy for players to truly own, trade, and use their in-game items.
The Sui Foundation has been investing heavily in building an ecosystem of high-quality games. Now, that effort is paying off.
Based on Sui's announcement, new games will roll out across 2025, starting with titles that are already live and moving toward big-name releases later this year.

- Brave Frontier Versus: Gumi's latest entry in the Brave Frontier series brings card-based battles to Sui, making good use of blockchain tech.

Why It Matters
Sui's growing lineup of games shows how far on-chain gaming has come. For years, web3 games struggled to match the speed, quality, and fun of web2 titles. Sui's infrastructure is looking to fix that. According to the team, the platform boasts hundreds of thousands of transactions per second and uses features like sponsored transactions to remove the usual friction points of web3.
The Sui Foundation's broader goal is to make on-chain gaming accessible to all — whether you're a hardcore collector, a casual farmer, or a competitive fighter. Many of these games are also bound to be playable on the SuiPlay0X1 console, set to launch later this year. This device, built in partnership with Playtron OS, will support both web2 and web3 games, further breaking down the wall between traditional and blockchain gaming.
