In a move that combines cutting-edge cloud gaming with the world of Web3, Star Atlas and Shaga have launched a creator campaign like no other—offering up to $100,000 in rewards. Announced shortly after their strategic partnership in March, this campaign runs through April 14th, inviting content creators from around the world to show off the future of play.
Titled "Streaming With Shaga," this creator push is all about one thing: letting fans play Star Atlas live, streamed straight from your PC to their phone or tablet. With no downloads or gaming rig required, this event isn't just about showing off gameplay—it's about breaking down the walls between streamer and viewer.
The $100,000 reward pool is made up of Star Atlas's $ATLAS tokens, in-game ships, and Shaga's native GLOB points. $ATLAS is the main currency used in the Star Atlas ecosystem for trading and in-game purchases. Ships, which are both collectible and playable, can be owned, traded, or used in gameplay. GLOB, meanwhile, is Shaga's ecosystem-wide reward system, earned by users and creators who engage with the platform. Every accepted creator will get 100,000 GLOB points, which will be redeemable for future perks, airdrops, and unlockable content.
To qualify, creators must submit a 30- to 60-second video showing a viewer from their region playing Star Atlas streamed live from the creator's PC using Shaga. The goal is to visually demonstrate how the viewer can take part in real-time gameplay on a mobile device, without needing their own high-end gaming setup.
This campaign is open to creators with at least 500 followers on one of the following platforms: X, Twitch, YouTube, or TikTok. Participants must post their video clip to X, tag @playonshaga and include the phrase "Streaming with Shaga." All accepted creators will get access to a fully unlocked version of Star Atlas for the duration of the campaign, allowing them to showcase every in-game asset available.
Those who meet these three steps and submit before April 14th can get into the campaign, which officially runs from April 17th–30th.
Shaga is a decentralized cloud gaming platform. With it, your viewers don't need a gaming PC or console. They just jump in and play directly from your rig using their phone or tablet.
To make it work, download the Shaga Early Access app (Windows), start a session from your PC, and invite viewers so that they can join and start playing instantly.
On-screen controls are supported, but for smoother gameplay, a controller like Xbox, PS5, or Backbone is recommended.
Back in March, Star Atlas and Shaga announced their partnership to enable cross-platform cloud gaming. Star Atlas is one of the AAA blockchain MMOs out there. Built on Solana and Unreal Engine 5, it offers a galaxy-spanning strategy game with deep economic systems and stunning detail.
But let's be real—not every player has a beastly gaming PC.
That's where Shaga comes in. It uses a peer-to-peer network of gaming machines to stream games with ultra-low latency, turning any device into a gaming rig. The idea? Let more people play more games—without hardware limits.
The deal also saw Star Atlas's team (ATMTA) invest directly in Shaga, including with $ATLAS tokens and in-game assets. It's a real bet on cloud gaming as a way to scale blockchain titles globally.
As more creators join in, the campaign shows how on-chain games are moving past hardware limits to reach players everywhere. Star Atlas and Shaga aren't just giving out rewards—they're proving that web3 can be easy to join, fun to play, and built for all.
