Spider Tanks, a PvP brawler by GAMEDIA, has introduced several economic upgrades to establish a fair, rewarding gaming experience. Most of these changes involve adjustments to the number of Victory Points (VP) that can be earned.
To stabilize the earnings among various NFT rarities, the team will be applying these changes soon: Common (+88.57%), Uncommon (+65.57%), Rare (+25.59%), Epic (-25.44%), Legendary (-40.53%), and Ancient (-76.29%). If you play with a Common NFT, you should get an 88.57% boost in VP gain.
VPs can be used to exchange for SILK, the native token of Spider Tanks. If the update above goes live, players with lower-rarity parts will earn more SILK. At launch, GAMEDIA will also host a bonus SILK period as a token of appreciation for their loyal players. The coming update will also make it easier for users to level up their tanks.
For those who may not know, free players can now borrow NFT assets through the Pilot Program of Spider Tanks. There are two exciting changes coming to this program. The first is a substantial boost to all Captain and Pilot VP earnings, while the second is a huge reduction in price for all Atomic Drop Pods. These might encourage more people to try out the game as the barrier to entry reduces.
According to GAMEDIA, they are planning for sometime this week to implement all the listed changes. After that, they will launch a new feature called Supercharge, which will bring users a massive VP boost for 5 matches straight. Players will receive 5 times the VP for their first win of the day whenever they win a match with Supercharge. For more details, check out the official post here.
