Spider Tanks Announces Arachnid August: The Arena Challenge

The team behind Spider Tanks, a PvP arena brawler part of the Gala Games ecosystem, has announced a 2-week event called Arachnid August, set to start on August 21st and end on September 4th.

For this event, the goal is to win as many matches as you can in order to progress through reward tiers in order to get a higher amount of component supply drops while having a chance at winning a random Tank Part. Each win during this event will also award you with +1 bonus Honor at the end of the event, up to a total of +200 Honor possible per player.

According to the announcement, the first week will feature parts from the Stag tank, while the second will include parts from the Soldier tank, with the developers clarifying that rewards are cumulative, meaning if you manage to reach Gold Tier, you’ll get rewards not only for that tier, but also for the ones you’ve managed to pass through as well. A similar principle applies for the giveaway tier through which you could be drawn to win a random Tank Part. If you don’t win in a giveaway tier you’ve qualified for, then you will be automatically placed into the below tier, giving you another chance at getting a Tank Part reward.

A total of 4 reward tiers are available, with the first one, the Bronze Tier, requiring at least 20 wins in a week in order to qualify.
