Indie game developer Mon Studios has announced the launch of the Enchanted Guild Wars (EGW) event, giving players of monster-catching MMORPG Spellborne an opportunity to band together to play to earn $BORNE tokens.
What Is Spellborne’s Enchanted Guild Wars Event?
The Enchanted Guild Wars event is Spellborne’s first-ever month-long event during which players can team up to play and earn from a total prize pool of 250k $BORNE tokens.
From June 2 to July 2, community-made clans compete to capture the rarest monsters in the game through wild battles using crystals. By doing so, guild members gain EGW points for their side, and the teams with the highest number of collected points by the end of the event will get to share varying portions of the reward pool. The rarer the monster, the more points it brings to your team. The odds of catching rare monsters have been increased for this event, and every new monster that is captured and has more than 200 innate potential will reward your side with +3 bonus points.
Overall, the most dedicated sides throughout this event with the most amount of crystals will be the ones more likelier to secure their rewards from this new prize pool. Each guild member will need to contribute as much as possible if they want their side to be at the top of this event’s leaderboard.
The top 10 guilds with the highest number of collected points will earn a share of the 250k $BORNE prize pool, distributed in the following manner:
- 1st: 75,000 $BORNE
- 2nd: 50,000 $$BORNE
- 3rd: 35,000 $BORNE
- 4th: 25,000 $BORNE
- 5th: 15,000 $BORNE
- 6th - 10th: 10,000 $BORNE each
The TGE for $BORNE is planned to take place at some point this June in partnership with Blackhole, an Avalanche-powered DEX made by SuperVerse and co-founded by Alex Becker (@ZssBecker) and EllioTrades (@elliotrades). This means that the game’s core token should likely already go live while the event is underway, with guilds set to receive leaderboard rewards post-TGE at some point after the event is over.
Going solo won’t get you anywhere in this event, so if you don’t have any guild at the moment, then here’s what you can do to easily get started with participating in this month’s teamwork-focused play to earn event!

How to Participate in Spellborne’s Enchanted Guild Wars Event
To participate in Spellborne’s Enchanted Guild Wars event, you can try joining an existing guild, or by creating one yourself in-game while inviting others to hop in to create the strongest monster-hunting side ready to catch the rarest monsters and top the leaderboard. Setting one up yourself however will require spending 400 gold nuggets while owning an Apartment NFT, which can be found on OpenSea on the Ethereum network for the floor price of 0.0599 ETH. As of writing, guild creations might be disabled, so you may want to check with the game’s team in the official Discord server to help you create your guild. Your best bet however will probably be to join an existing guild.
Every guild can have up to 50 members, and competing against other strong guilds will require you to use crystals in wild battles, as these are the in-game items that allow you to catch monsters. Find the rarest monsters that you can and use one of 4 different types of crystals to capture them: Crystal, Super Crystal, Hyper Crystal, and Prismatic Crystal. The rarer the Crystal, the higher your chances of catching a valuable monster. You can earn Crystals by completing daily missions, as well as by crafting them at the Heiwa Crafting Building. Crystals can also be bought using gold nuggets or compost over at the Greater Market in Yorokobi Town. In Yorokobi Town you can access a Task Board through which you can complete quests that award gold nuggets.
Spellborne is available as a free to play title on web browsers, but also as a mobile game for Android and iOS. You can play on Android by downloading the 2D MMO through the Play Store, while iOS users can play through the Safari browser for the time being, with an App Store launch planned for the future. There are also plans to go live on the Epic Games Store in early access, with a store page already up for anyone who’d like to wishlist ahead of launch.
