Space Nation Soft Launches with 13 Million OIK Tokens in Rewards and New Features

September 27, 2024 marks the beginning of the Space Nation Soft Launch Summer, a 12-week event that signals the game’s transition from closed betas to a more accessible soft launch. This launch includes a total of over 13 million OIK tokens to be distributed as rewards, new gameplay features, and events geared toward engaging both new and existing players.

Soft Launch Overview

The soft launch will run from September 27, 2024, to December 19, 2024, offering players access to 8 quests, including key activities like the Space Nation Online: The Elite’s Feast and the Roland Emmerich Spaceship Project. Players will have the chance to compete for tokens and items as they engage with various in-game features.

According to the announcement, a major component of the launch is the Proof of Contribution (POC), with a prize pool of 12 million OIK tokens for participants. The POC system allows players to contribute to the game in meaningful ways and be rewarded based on their contributions.

As part of the event, Space Nation has teamed up with OKX to host an NFT Trading Competition, which runs from September 27 to October 18, 2024. Players can trade NFTs like Alpha Gate, Prime Navigator, and various spaceships, which play a role in the game. 

Participants in the competition will earn points based on the USD value of their purchases, with a prize pool of 60,000 OIK tokens. A global leaderboard will track rankings, and the event will feature multiple updates, allowing players to monitor their progress.

Orion Crystal Hunt: 200,000 OIK Prize Pool

In addition to the main events, players can take part in the Orion Crystal Hunt, a mini-game that offers a prize pool of 200,000 OIK tokens. This event involves completing daily missions and space attacks to earn boxes containing N-crystals, which can be redeemed for OIK tokens later in October. Players can earn up to 100 crystals per box, with the number of boxes capped per day. The event is open to all players, regardless of prior participation in closed betas.

During the soft launch, Space Nation will also introduce the Space Fleet Program, offering double rewards for participants who recruit new players. This includes fuel rebates of up to 15% and a recruitment incentive of 290,000 OIK tokens, distributed over two phases. Players who successfully recruit others can earn fuel rewards and climb the ranks, with top performers being promoted from Cadets to Commanders.

The recruitment leaderboard will track the performance of recruiters, rewarding the top participants based on the number of recruits and their fuel consumption during the event.

Gameplay Features and POC Phases

The Proof of Contribution (POC) event is split into two phases. The first phase, from September 27 to November 7, 2024, focuses on group instance battles and guild missions, with players working to assemble fleets and prepare for Planet Occupation Season 1. The second phase, from November 8 to December 19, 2024, features Guild vs. Guild combat, where guilds battle for control over planets in the Icro galaxy. New spaceships, such as the T5 Guild Mothership, will be introduced during this phase.

Additionally, the Elite’s Feast event offers a 250,000 OIK token war chest for players who reach level 50 during the soft launch. This event allows high-level players to compete for a share of the prize pool by progressing through the game and completing specific challenges.

Accessing the Soft Launch

To participate in the Space Nation soft launch, players will need a Soft Launch Access Code, a Logistikos account, and an Immutable Passport. Players who already hold Space Nation NFTs can unlock access automatically by registering their NFTs in the game. The registration process is relatively simple, with instructions provided through the Space Nation portal.

Prime codes provide additional benefits, including 600K fuel and access to special ships like the T1 Combat Ship. These codes grant players early access to the soft launch, along with exclusive in-game items designed to enhance gameplay.
