Skate Nation XL, although it may seem like a mirror of SkaterXL, this game, as the team behind development claims, is different. Players will find interactive controls in the game as the developers have crafted a smooth control system manifesting into every trick and turn a player makes in the game.
The development team claims Skate Nation XL has precision controls, ensuring every move and skill players perform feels natural and responsive. The game is yet to be released on Epic Games and Steam.
In addition to the interactive controls, Skate Nation XL has good graphics while the design team sets a new standard in skateboarding gaming. The players will play in skateparks set in realistic textures and animation of famous spots, as every element is designed carefully to express realism.
SkateNationXL offers a variety of game modes that suit the play style of every type of player. From competing in high-stakes tournaments to exploring different global locations in open-world environments.
In the career mode, players can build their reputation, unlock new gear, and check out different locations. In the career mode, skaters have the opportunity to build their reputation, which is crucial for increasing their earnings.
Then, there’s a multiplayer mode, where players will experience the thrill of multiplayer action. In this mode, the players can participate in the Tron Race and Skateboard Showdown. SkateNationXL players will earn experience points (XP) and in-game currency, which they can use to customize the skater, and skateboards and unlock new rewards. The players' progress and activities will be recorded on monthly leaderboards, which also keeps the competitive feeling alive and makes players eligible to receive special rewards.
In addition to XP and currency, the players can use social features to connect with fellow skaters, share tricks, and even indulge in friendly competition within the game.
SkateNationXL was able to garner the community’s attention after featuring on the IGN Network. As the network shared the skateboarding game’s trailer on its official YouTube channel, it marked a significant milestone in the game’s journey.
IGN also shared a tweet on X with the same trailer, which also brought much-needed attention to the skateboarding game.
In addition to associating with IGN Network, SkateNationXL has also partnered with Fusion Games through their partnership with BGame Alliance.
