Shardbound, a multiplayer collectible tactics game, is set to receive an early access alpha playtest, launch on August 30th and ending on September 3rd. The playtest will be followed by a General Access Alpha, starting on September 7th and ending on September 17th.
In order to gain access to the early access one, you’ll have to pre-register on the game’s official website and follow the game’s official Twitter/X account, giving you a chance of potentially claiming one of the 1000 available playtest spots. If you don’t get access, then don’t worry, as based on the announcement down below, while it isn’t specifically stated, it seems that everyone will probably be able to jump into the game shortly after thanks to the General Access Alpha that should have servers open up for anyone to hop in and see what the gameplay is like.
According to info their Discord server, more than 35k people have already pre-registered, but as we’re still in what they call the Playtesting Collection Period since August 14th, you can still try your luck by following the detailed instructions posted in the relevant Discord channel.
