Shanghai's proposed metaverse features a list of several key objectives: expedition of a widespread deployment of a 5G network, a campaign for the adoption of cutting-edge computing platforms, and fostering technical infrastructure built to encourage digital cultural tourism. These aforementioned computing platforms must be able to provide real-time spatial computing and cloud rendering.
This announcement signifies the government internet to permit museums, art galleries, exhibition venues, and commercial districts to embrace virtual reality (VR) technologies.
