Annual community-driven Web3 festival NFT Fest is back this 2024 in Brussels on July 7th and 8th with Apple Vision Pro and Ledger as prizes for attendants in a POAP (Proof of Attendance Protocol) Hunt available for all ticket holders.
Taking place over the course of 2 days in the unique Mix Hotels venue in Brussels, Belgium, attendants will have the opportunity to listen and converse with key industry leaders while enjoying a variety of main and side events. While the official schedule for this ApeCoin-powered event has not yet been revealed, the side events are already known, and so are the plans from the Ape Foundation, one of the festival’s many sponsors, among which are also leading blockchain gaming investor Animoca Brands (whose CEO, Robby Yung and marketing manager Lucie Acquaviva are attending), free to play Web3 shooter BADMAD ROBOTS, browser-based gaming platform WNDR.com, Adidas, Bored Ape Yacht Club, Ledger, Bitget Wallet and plenty more, with the main sponsor being W Capital.
The side events kick off a day early, starting off with a yoga boxing meetup at Mix Banquet1 on Saturday, July 6th, 3:30 PM GMT+2 with limited spots, so you’ll have to sign up through a waitlist here. On the same day there will also be limited spots for a VIP Welcome Dinner from 7 PM to 10 PM GMT+2 at the 5-star luxury hotel Amigo, with the private event sponsored by Sleap.io, the first Web3 native booking hotel platform.
July 7th includes a Moon Party featuring Dutch DJ and record producer Quintino, as well as an Apes meet-up that seems to be focused on AI, social and DePIN discussions and is co-hosted by Aethir, Hemera, SocialScan and more. For the final day, STEPN is organizing its own already sold-out meet-up together with Superteam France, while official event organizers are having a sold-out morning event focused on Bitcoin Ordinals with a diverse cast of speakers, among which are OrdinalsBot co-founder Toby, Trust Machines’ VP of Product & Operations Rena Shah, OKX’s Innovation Efforts Leader Jason Lau, Darewise Entertaintment (the developer of blockchain MMORPG Life Beyond) CEO Benjamin Charbit and more.
According to ApeCoin’s Twitter thread, attendants at the main metaverse booth will find 2 APE Racing x Icon.X World simulators. Icon.X World is a Web3 esports racing ecosystem, and it looks like they’ve teamed up with the Ape Foundation and the Web3 division of the Alpine F1 team to offer “special goodies” to participants who manage to get the best racing time.
Part of their program also consists of members of the ApeCoin Creators Assembly and the founders of BrewBlock introducing Web3 brewery, which is planned to arrive to ApeChain this summer. Visitors at the booth will have the opportunity to customize their can with their own PFP directly on site. There will also be a secondary booth focused on displaying a creativity exhibit featuring products from creators in the ecosystem and by MBA (Made By Apes) brands.
Last but not least, an ApeCoin Metaverse keynote titled “ApeCoin Creators Assembly” from ApeCoin Metaverse Steward dim.eth (@dim8765 on X) will take place on July 7th, followed by a fireside chat focused on discussing the ApeChain network with dim.eth and Horizen Labs’ VP Ecosystem Growth Spencer Soloway on July 8th.
There are a couple of different tickets to choose from, each varying in price and benefits. All of them can be bought using either crypto or credit card.
The cheapest type is the 1-day GA Ticket, which is divided into Sunday Pass and Monday Pass. Both are priced at €150 each and let you attend either on July 7th or 8th, with both providing access to the Moon Party that begins on July 7th. These tickets also let you enter the POAP Hunt for a chance at winning an Apple Vision Pro. Although Ledger is listed as one of the prizes on the official website, the ticket details only mention Apple’s XR device.
If you want to attend the whole event, you’ll then need the 2 Days Pass which costs €250 and comes with party access and the chance to win the same prize as with the cheaper variant.
The most expensive ticket available is the VIP Ticket Pass. Priced at €1000, this one contains the same benefits as the ones before it (except for the POAP Hunt maybe, as it’s not listed), but also comes with VIP access to the event and party, membership rate at the MIX Hotel, as well as the opportunity to enjoy the VIP Welcome Dinner on July 6th.
