The week is designed to keep things simple for players: show up at the time window, participate in the activity, then join the related Discord voice or channel to hang out and enter raffles if you meet the requirements.
What Power Week is building on inside Nifty Island
Nifty Island positions itself as a community driven play space where players can explore islands, play games, complete quests, and earn on chain rewards. The platform leans heavily into campaign style participation, where specific activities and islands can be tied to reward eligibility, often using points and multipliers to shape competition outcomes.
That structure fits “Power Hour” style events well because it gives communities a repeatable format: a defined activity window, clear participation rules, and measurable outcomes that can be paired with token or NFT rewards.
Event schedule and how to participate
Monday, January 26: Fishing Power Hour
The week opens with a joint fishing competition on Fish With Apemo Island. The event starts at 7:45 AM PT and 10:45 AM ET, which corresponds to 16:45 in Germany. The fishing competition includes a 3X Dark Baits modifier and pays 500 ISLAND to the first place finisher.
There is also a separate holder gated prize component. If you are a Power Pass holder, a Legionnaire, or a Mars Cats NFT holder, you can qualify for an additional random draw with 10 winners receiving 50 ISLAND each, plus a Mars Cats Satoshikart prize.
Alongside the in game event, both communities will meet in the Satoshiverse Discord voice channel. A raffle is tied to social proof of participation: attendees who join the meetup and post a screenshot of themselves participating in the Power Hour on X, tagging both projects, are entered. Prizes for that raffle include 3 winners receiving 100 ISLAND each and 1 Alien Cat NFT.
Tuesday, January 27: Avatar Creation Activity
The second event is a community co creation session hosted in the Satoshiverse Discord. It starts at 9:30 AM PT and 12:30 PM ET, which corresponds to 18:30 in Germany.
The goal is to collaboratively design a combined Satoshiverse plus Mars Cats avatar. The Satoshiverse team plans to turn the selected concept into a 3D character that can be used in Nifty Island. Every participant receives the final community created avatar, which is the core incentive for joining even if you are not competing for a top spot.
A raffle is also planned among participants, with prizes listed as 1 Alien Cat NFT and 3 winners receiving 100 ISLAND.
Thursday, January 29: Racing Power Hour
The week closes with a racing focused Power Hour inside the Satoshikart GrandPrix experience. The start time is 9:00 AM PT and 12:00 PM ET, which corresponds to 18:00 in Germany. The racing session includes boosted modifiers listed as 2X and 1.5X boosts, plus additional prizes.
This time, the community meetup moves to the Mars Cats Discord, where the final attendee raffle will run. The holder gated prize pool for Power Pass holders, Legionnaires, or Mars Cats NFT holders includes 10 winners receiving 50 ISLAND each, plus 1 Mars Cats NFT. The meetup raffle again requires an X screenshot post tagging both projects, with prizes of 1 Alien Cat NFT and 3 winners receiving 100 ISLAND.
How to approach the week strategically
If you want maximum upside, treat this as two parallel tracks. First, the activity track: show up on time and participate in the fishing or racing window so you are eligible for competitive rewards and any holder gated draws. Second, the meetup track: join the correct Discord for that day, capture a clear participation screenshot, and post it on X with both tags to enter the raffles.
For players who are newer to Nifty Island, it is worth remembering that many events and quests on the platform are built to reward consistent participation, sometimes using multipliers or structured point systems.
