Saga has recently introduced Pegasus, a testnet with incentives. Saga is a leading Layer-1 protocol and developer community in the web3 gaming spaces. This has enabled Saga's designers and game developers to actually express their ideas. This launch showcases the first phase of the company's final designed roadmap. The Saga Protocol V1 Mainnet, slated for an early launch in 2024, is the next step on the roadmap.
At the Saga Multiverse Summit in August, Pegasus was first unveiled. Since then, the test-net has changed a lot from its initial plan to help Saga's partners and innovators. The Saga Chainlet Realm is also included in Pegasus. And there are also other necessary architectural elements for onboarding other realms. These elements make up the platform chain. Developers can use it to launch and maintain their Chain-lets, and the security chain.
These Chainlets also serve as the center of all application and end-user activity. To support the Ethereum ecosystem, the team wants to develop a Chainlet that is based on the EVM. Nevertheless, the aim is to provide a VM-agnostic that lets developers use it in any environment of their choice. Saga also initiated an airdrop campaign in appreciation of the community's contributions. This airdrop was as part of the launch.
SAGA tokens will also be awarded to key persons. This includesq developers, end users, validators, and community members. These are people who participate in the launch quests and support the ecosystem.
Saga unveiled Realms, the technological embodiment of the Saga Multiverse, prior to the Pegasus launch.
At the heart of the Saga Protocol are features called Chainlets. Chainlets are blockchains that are automated, highly effective and interoperable. They can also customizable and have no gas fee.
The main realm, the Saga Chainlet Realm, will soon receive support. Developers are able to introduce bespoke chains with various features and services on Saga through these realms. he services are technology stacks, security sources, and different responsibilities for these sources.
