RollerCoin has launched Prediction Markets, a new feature that lets players buy and trade shares on outcomes inside the game and claim RLT when their call proves correct. The feature went live on August 12, 2026.

The markets are built around RollerCoin itself rather than external events. Topics cover in game outcomes including leaderboard finishes, League results, marketplace activity, and game economy metrics, with example markets set around blockchain power thresholds for specific player divisions. The pitch from the studio is that every prediction is a chance to prove you know RollerCoin better than anyone else.

How the Markets Work

The flow runs in four steps. Players pick a market, lock in a prediction, trade by selling or holding their shares, then claim winnings in RLT once the outcome is settled.

Markets carry binary or multiple outcomes, with the familiar YES and NO structure on two sided questions. Players buy virtual shares representing the outcome they expect, and each winning share converts to 1.00 RLT when the market resolves.

Prices are not fixed. Odds move based on player demand, so as more participants buy into one outcome its share price rises while the opposing side becomes cheaper. That creates a second way to profit: a player who buys early at a low price and watches sentiment shift can sell the position at a higher price before the deadline rather than waiting for resolution. Early exit is built in as a core feature rather than an edge case.

Once trading closes, the RollerCoin team verifies the result, and winners claim rewards through the My Bets section. Markets that get voided refund the original RLT spent, so a cancelled question does not cost participants anything.

The fee structure is straightforward. A 2 percent trading fee applies when buying or selling shares. Claiming a final reward carries no fee at all, which means the cost sits on activity rather than on winning.

Why This Fits RollerCoin's Economy

The choice to build markets around in game data rather than sports or politics keeps the feature inside the game's own knowledge loop. A player who has spent months watching League standings, tracking marketplace prices, and understanding how mining power distributes across divisions holds information that a newcomer does not. Prediction Markets turn that accumulated familiarity into something tradeable.

It also gives RLT a new sink and a new source at the same time. RLT is the in game token, earned through mini games, quests, and lootboxes, and it cannot be withdrawn to an external wallet. Adding a market where RLT is both the stake and the payout keeps that value circulating internally, which is consistent with how the currency has always functioned.

The studio has paid out more than 10 million USD since 2018, a figure that spans the platform's cryptocurrency rewards rather than this feature alone.

Inside RollerCoin

RollerCoin is a free to play arcade, mining, and simulation game that runs in a browser on desktop and through a mobile app. Players build a virtual data centre, play retro styled mini games, and accumulate mining power through quests and virtual miners.

The core loop turns that mining power into real cryptocurrency. A player's share of a global reward pool is determined by how much mining power they hold, with distributions made at regular intervals. Power can be spread across multiple cryptocurrencies or concentrated on a single one, which turns allocation into its own strategic decision.

Supported currencies span Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin, Solana, BNB, Polygon, Tron, and Litecoin, and the game touches Binance, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Polygon, and Solana networks. Earnings in those currencies can be withdrawn to external wallets once minimum thresholds are met, which separates them clearly from RLT.

RLT itself is the internal currency. It is earned through mini games, quests, and lootboxes, spent on upgrades and now on prediction shares, and it stays inside the game rather than moving to an external wallet. The token contract sits on Polygon under the name RollerToken.

The game carries no NFT requirement, which keeps the entry barrier low. New players start with a small data centre and build up through play rather than through purchase, though buying mining power is available for those who want to accelerate.

RollerCoin has been running since 2018 and took both Game of the Year and Best Browser Game at the Blockchain Game Awards 2025. It currently sits at rank number 18 on PlayToEarn with a score of 1,144.
