ROHAN 2 has teamed up with Immutable to launch an Onboarding Quest program on Immutable Play, giving the web3 gaming community the opportunity to stack up more Gems by doing various tasks related to this web3 game.

What Is the ROHAN 2 x Immutable Onboarding Quest?

The ROHAN 2 x Immutable Onboarding Quest marks the game’s integration within the Immutable Play ecosystem, introducing blockchain-based participation and early rewards for new players.

According to the official announcement, more than 55k players have already joined the game’s global servers, and those same players plus anyone new can now take up this questing opportunity in order to play and earn over 600 Gem rewards, which are gained by completing social and gameplay quests located on the game’s official Immutable Play page.

There are plans to also soon introduce a Leaderboard Campaign, which will launch shortly after this initial phase. This event will supposedly include large prize pools of $CROSS, the primary token of the CROSS Protocol, offering additional incentives for top-performing players.

How to Earn Gems in ROHAN 2 Onboarding Quest

During the Immutable Onboarding Quest, players can earn the platform currency Gems by completing a variety of different tasks.

To get started with earning Gems from this event, head to the game’s official Immutable Play page and sign up with your Immutable Passport. You can then follow the game on the platform to earn 10 Gems and unlock access to completing all of the other available missions, include social and gameplay-focused ones. For gameplay tasks, you will want to make sure to link your Passport in-game as well before doing any such mission in order to make sure quest progression is being tracked properly. Some of the quests available include joining the game’s official Discord server, defeating 100 monsters every day, defeating Boss Elizabeth once, entering your CROSSx wallet address in-game to connect with CROSS Wave, and more.

By completing one-time and daily quests during this onboarding phase, it seems that you could possibly earn over 600 Gems. These Gems serve as a platform currency that can be redeemed for Keys, which are used to enter weekly draws on Immutable Play, giving everyone a chance rewards such as $IMX tokens, Gems, and more.

What Is ROHAN 2?

ROHAN 2 is the official sequel to the classic MMORPG ROHAN, developed by NEXUS in partnership with Playwith Korea. Built on the CROSS Protocol, the game combines MMORPG gameplay with blockchain-based ownership features. Players can participate using standard in-game currencies or connect to web3 wallets to convert their in-game assets into tradeable tokens.

The game maintains the medieval fantasy world of the original ROHAN, featuring detailed environments, dynamic combat, and a player-driven economy. Players can choose from 5 main classes based on the familiar races of the series: defensive melee class Human (Knight), agile stealth-based Dhan (Assassin), magic support class Elf (Healer), long-range Half-Elf (Archer), and the hybrid warrior that can transform into a dragon, Dekan (Dragon Fighter).

The game of course also offers gameplay mechanics found in classic MMORPGs, including open world PvP, guilds, boss battles, and cross-server wars. Players can join guilds, complete co-op missions, and take part in scheduled events across multiple time zones. Open world PvP can consist of both small-scale fights to massive battles as players vie for territorial control and top leaderboard positions. Anyone who doesn’t want to venture it out solo can join a guild to do co-op missions and guild quests while contributing to collective progression. Speaking of progression, this game allows you to endlessly level up using in-game currency, so the more you play, the stronger you can get and thus better prepared to take on any new event. As you play and gain varied loot, you can choose to take part in the player-driven economy and trade, buy, and sell items through the in-game marketplace. When you’re logged out, the game utilizes an upgraded auto-combat system with smart auto-target, enabling you to continue progressing while you’re offline. There is also cross-server play and a unified accounts system, allowing you to have multiple characters under one profile with shared character levels and the option to jump into any server that is most suitable for your time zone.

The game is made to be accessible for both web2 and web3 users. Traditional gamers can experience the game in a standard web2 format using in-game RUBY currency, while web3 players can link their accounts to the CROSS ecosystem for blockchain-based NFT trading and token ownership.

The economic system behind this MMO, referred to as ROHANomics, connects in-game activity to blockchain-based value through a structured token model. It uses three main assets: RUBY, sRUBY, and $RUBYx, which together form a closed economic loop.

Players can earn or purchase RUBY, the central in-game currency, and use it to buy items, participate in events, or pay for subscriptions. When RUBY is spent, it flows into the RUBY Vault, from which it is later recycled and resold through the RUBY Market. The market operates on a fixed-supply model, as the total amount of RUBY is capped at 1 billion, with no additional minting allowed.

Players who spend RUBY receive sRUBY, a secondary currency that can be converted through the CROSS RAMP system into $RUBYx, the blockchain tokenized version of RUBY. Once converted, $RUBYx can be exchanged for $CROSS, creating a direct link between gameplay and cryptocurrency markets while allowing players to progress within the game and maintain ownership of their assets on-chain.

A multi-token version of the in-game currency, $CRONx, is also under development. This looks set to operate alongside RUBY and CROSS tokens, offering new ways to engage with the web3 game’s broader ecosystem.

This PC and mobile MMO operates within the CROSS Protocol, a blockchain infrastructure system that’s designed specifically for gaming. The protocol enables the transfer of in-game assets like RUBY and sRUBY into blockchain equivalents, including $RUBYx and $CROSS, delivering true player ownership and seamless interoperability.
