Revolving Games Partners with Animoca Brands for Node Ecosystem

Another announcement from Animoca Brands, this time revealing a partnership with Revolving Games to provide assistance in building and growing their RCADE ecosystem – a gaming-oriented layer2 chain.

Details on what this partnership actually entails have not yet been revealed, though Animoca Brands is already an investor in Revolving Games. 

Yat Siu, co-founder and executive chairman of Animoca Brands, had this to say about the partnership: 

“While the majority of Web3 games remain largely excluded from mainstream distribution channels, the team behind Revolving Games has a proven track record in designing, developing, and launching games that have captivated mass audiences. We look forward to the expansion of Revolving Games' IP ecosystem and its onboarding of mainstream users into Web3.”

And Ammar Zaeem, co-founder and co-CEO of Revolving Games, said:

Lastly, a single interoperable token (RCADE Token) allows users to move in-game assets between games, as well as allowing third-party games to build on the RCADE chain. What is Revolving Games?

Revolving Games is a game development studio. They currently have four of their own games in development, and another ten they plan to onboard to the RCADE Chain in the next year and a half. Their first release, Skyborne Phoenix Flight, a mobile game, is slated for early access in Q4 of 2024.

The initial NFT collection for Revolving Games was the Genesis Immortals, characters for Skyborne Legacy, their MMO game currently in development. They expanded that with the Nexian Gems collection which later converted into Nexus Nodes. These Nexus Nodes are the first of the blockchain Nodes for the RCADE chain and will offer special benefits to holders who help maintain the RCADE ecosystem.

Additional Nodes will be available in a public sale at a later date, while those staking NFTs from the  Revolving Games collections will receive access to an early pre-sale. Eligible NFTs include Genesis Immortals, Nexus Nodes, and RG Bytes.

The staking program for NFT holders is expected to start on August 8th with the pre-sale opening on August 15th. Stay tuned for more details soon!

What is the RCADE Foundation?

The RCADE Foundation is a decentralized gaming network in development by Revolving Games, which plans to run as a community-driven chain, with the RCADE token playing a role as the backbone of the governance system.

RCADE will also function as a currency within the gaming ecosystem, and also be used to activate and boost Nodes.

Powered by Starlings, the RCADE chain focuses on high throughput, low latency, parallel processing, multi-chain integrations, seamless onboarding for new players, as well as services and integrations designed to facilitate development and growth.

The RCADE Chain will feature RCADE nodes for a decentralized ecosystem, with those running and maintaining the nodes receiving rewards from the network. Nodes will have to be purchased, with more sale details expected to be revealed sometime soon.

RCADE is currently running a ‘Side Quest’ program, letting people earn points which can be redeemed for RCADE tokens during the TGE (token generation event).
