Rebel Bots Xoil Wars Season 2 Open Beta Is Live With 25K $RBLS Prize Pool

Gaming studio Xoilium Ltd. has announced that Season 2 of the open beta version of Rebel Bots Xoil Wars is now officially live with a 25k $RBLS prize pool.

This second season of the open beta started on August 14th and has players compete against each other for the top 100 spots of the leaderboard in an effort to claim a share of the aforementioned prize pool. Everyone who is interested in participating can register and download the game on Windows, Mac, and Android devices by heading to the link found in the tweet down below. Players will have to connect their wallet on the Polygon testnet in order to login and play, with the available options including MetaMask and WalletConnect. Based on the announcement in the game's official Discord server, it seems this season will last for 3 weeks, just like the previous season.

This play-to-earn title features 2D card battle strategy gameplay similar to that of the gameplay found in the pre-Origins version of Axie Infinity.

Next to the prize pool, exclusive rewards in the form of lootcrate airdrops are also available. Unlocking these airdrops requires crafting your own Fighting Bots, with the creation of each bot leveling up your lootcrate which the announcement states will “give you an advantage when Xoil Wars launches world wide.” The post shows 3 different lootcrates: Meteor, Nova, and Celestial.

With the new season comes improved game performance, giving players a smoother gameplay experience alongisde a host of parties and giveaways to partake in, with the Medium post from the developers mentioning weekly Discord games and contests.
