On Monday, RealGo officially went live on BNB Chain, bringing its meme-themed, location-based AR pet game to a larger web3 audience. With this launch, players can now access the game's full ecosystem using the BNB Chain infrastructure. RealGo combines real-world exploration with AR, meme culture, and crypto rewards for a dynamic mobile experience.

In a post shared on X, the team highlighted the main features now live for BNB Chain users. These include meme pet capturing in AR, team building, strategic battles, and resource missions. The game also lets you explore real-life landmarks, interact with your meme companions, and join multiplayer or solo challenges.

Capture Memes Using AR in the Real World

At the center of RealGo's gameplay is Meme Capture. This feature uses location-based AR to place meme pets around your actual surroundings. Once the app is installed and your location is turned on, nearby memes will show up on your in-game map. To capture one, you'll need to walk toward its location and tap on it to begin the encounter.

Capturing works by throwing a Capture Orb at the target. Timing matters here. Rarer memes often try to escape, so you need to swipe at just the right moment. Orbs come in different types, with stronger ones offering better success rates. The most powerful, the Elite Orb, offers up to an 85% chance of success. Once caught, the meme joins your team as a pet.

Each meme pet comes with 5 core stats: Attack, Defense, Speed, Focus, and HP. These attributes determine how effective your pet will be in battle. Some pets, like Doge or Pepe, may also evolve or unlock special quests, giving players even more ways to build and grow their squad.

Exploration Is a Key Part of the Game

Movement is important in RealGo. The types of memes you'll find can change based on your location and the time of day. This means you'll need to explore different places to increase your chances of finding rare pets or special resources. Seasonal events and region-specific spawns also create new capture opportunities.

To make things easier, players can use capture tools like Timehack to extend the capture window, Speed Reducer to slow down faster memes, and Super Bait to attract rare ones. Another important feature is the Treasure Spot system. Visiting one of these marked areas boosts spawn rates and gives you bonus items like Orbs or materials.

The Real Radar feature lets you scan the area to find memes, portals, and other players. This also gives you a way to form teams, chat, and track events or rare spawns in real time.

Earn Tokens Through Play

RealGo has a full play to earn system built around gameplay activities like capturing, battling, and mining. The main reward is the Real Token (RT), though this hasn't launched yet. Until then, players can earn RT Shards, which can later be converted to RT at a rate of 2,000 shards per token.

You'll get these shards from several areas in the game, but one of the main systems is the Mini Harvester. This is RealGo's passive income mechanic, where you send out 3 meme pets to mine for RT Shards in a shared space called the Core Field. How well you perform depends on your pet team's stats and how you rank against others in real time.

Each Harvester session involves competing with other players for shard output. You'll need to manage your Harvester's durability and gas. If you activate Turbo Mode, your mining speed increases, but you'll use up more gas. You also need to be at least level 5 to enter, and your ranking is based on your CP score, which goes up as you win battles during the session.

The best-ranked players can earn up to 30 shards per harvest cycle. Even if you go offline, your Harvester will keep working as long as it has enough durability left and there are shards in the field.

Build Your Battle Team and Compete

Another major feature in RealGo is Meme Battles. These give you a chance to train your pets, test strategies, and earn rewards. You'll pick 3 meme pets to form your team and go up against enemies using an element counter system and skill-based combat.

Battle types include Meme Solo, which is a basic training mode, and Meme Strike, where you move, aim, and attack a boss. There's also Meme Raid, which works like an AR tower defense, and Arena mode, where you fight other players in ranked PvP challenges. 

Coming soon are Meme Boss Battles and AR-based versions of Meme Strike and Meme Raid. These use your real-world surroundings as part of the fight and offer more immersive experiences. Winning battles rewards you with items, RT Shards, or in some cases, Meme Cores.

Unlock Rare Pets With Meme Cores

The Meme Core system works like a blind box. When you open a Meme Core, you get a new pet based on a random drop rate. These pets can range from common to ultra-rare, with SSR pets only dropping at a rate of 0.5%. These higher-tier pets usually have better stats and can give you an edge in battle.

You can get Meme Cores by completing daily missions, capturing memes, or finishing battles. There's a weekly limit of 20 cores per account to keep the system balanced. To open one, you'll need a Seal Breaker, which can be bought or earned during events. Unopened Meme Cores can be traded, giving players a way to take part in the game's marketplace.

Inside the RealGo Token Economy

RealGo includes both in-game and onchain currencies. These work together to support gameplay, progression, and trading. The most important token is Real Token (RT), which will serve as the game's main currency once live. RT can be used to unlock web3 features, buy rare items, or take part in marketplace trades.

Here's a quick breakdown:

  • RT: Earned by converting RT Shards. Will be used onchain for trading and purchases.
  • RT Shards: Earned through captures, events, and harvesters. Can be converted into RT.
  • Gold: Common in-game currency used for upgrades and general purchases.
  • Gems: Premium in-game currency used for bundles, skins, and advanced content.
  • Meme Tokens: Onchain meme coins like DOGE or PEPE, which can be earned by capturing specific pets and withdrawn to your crypto wallet.

RT is expected to have a total supply of 7.5 billion, with burn mechanics in place. A percentage of marketplace fees will be used to buy back and burn RT. Unclaimed rewards will also be removed from circulation over time.

With its deployment on BNB Chain now complete, RealGo is available on both the App Store and Google Play. The game brings together AR, blockchain gameplay, and meme culture in one mobile experience that rewards you for getting outside and playing.
