Top-down MMORPG RavenQuest has launched Phase 2 of its Early Access P2A campaign. It is now live for landowners and Munk NFT holders. These players can dive right into the action, exploring new content and competing for rewards. For others, the doors open on September 20th, when all players can join for free.
Following the success of RavenQuest's land sale on September 14th, Phase 2 brings a host of updates and juicy prizes. With two new leaderboards and an expanded $6 million $QUEST prize pool, there's a lot players can look forward to.
For landowners and Munk holders, Phase 2 is already in full swing. They're experiencing the new features firsthand, such as the long-awaited Guild System and the opportunity to climb new leaderboards.
If you don't own land or a Munk, don't worry—you'll be able to join on September 20th. Players who enter the game can start competing for rewards and exploring the new features, such as Guild Wars, which will kick off on September 28th.
Phase 2 features two new leaderboards that come with exciting prizes. The Gold Multiplier leaderboard offers a $4 million $QUEST prize pool, while the second Game-First leaderboard brings a $2 million $QUEST prize pool. Both leaderboards measure players' achievements via various in-game tasks.
These leaderboards track multiple categories, namely:
A major feature of Phase 2 is the Guild System launch. Now live, guilds allow players to band together, create a hierarchy within their group, and take on challenges as a team. Forming and managing guilds is key, offering members various roles and responsibilities, from standard Members to high-ranking Leaders.
Starting September 28th, the first Guild Wars will begin, where guilds face off for glory and rewards. These battles will require strategy, teamwork, and leadership to secure victory, and only the strongest guilds will rise to the top.
Along with these, Phase 2 also brings major updates to the game. Login Streak Gold Chests are now available again so non-landowners won't miss out on daily rewards.
Aether Rifts, one of the game's core PvE features, has also been updated. A new mechanic called the "Severed Link" effect introduces a stacking healing penalty for every minute players spend inside an Aether Rift. To overcome this, players must defeat Aether Abominations to reduce the penalty.
In Phase 2, Aether Echoes is also updated with new reward systems. Players who sacrifice a scroll to summon an Aether Echo will now receive greater rewards. This change will make Echo battles even more rewarding for those willing to step up and summon these challenges.
What's more, changes have been made to Glory Shards, with drop rates now scaling according to the strength of the creatures you face. This encourages players to seek out tougher enemies for greater rewards.
For those new to the game, $QUEST is the premium on-chain currency. Players can use it for various in-game purchases, such as cosmetics, effort potions, and even companions. Landowners will earn a share of ecosystem rewards, which makes owning land NFTs a valuable advantage.
Other NFTs, such as Munk Genesis NFTs and RavenCards, provide extra perks. Players can equip RavenCards to boost their skills. With 192 collectible RavenCards, the possibilities for enhancing your character are endless in RavenQuest.
With Guild Wars just around the corner, players should start preparing now. Guild leaders can rally their members, organize strategies, and gather resources to claim victory.
As RavenQuest continues to grow, the team is working hard to gather feedback from the players to improve the game. Their ultimate goal is to prepare RavenQuest for a global release, positioning it as one of the top web3 games.
