After hosting a Land Sale back in September ahead of Phase 2, the developers of blockchain MMORPG RavenQuest are now back with the Final Phase Land Sale that begins on December 8th at 9 PM CET, during the ongoing reward-packed Phase 3 of this free to play 2D game.
The Final Phase Land Sale is your last opportunity to mint yourself a piece of the fantasy world of RavenQuest. Only one land per player can be bought on Immutable zkEVM using USDC on your Immutable Passport. The sale is divided into 3 rounds: GTD, FCFS, and Public.
The GTD Round is the first one that opens on December 8th at 21:00 CET / 12:00 PST / 17:00 BRT. It ends in only 20 minutes, and is then followed by the FCFS Round, which also lasts 20 minutes, after which the sale goes in to the Public Round where anyone might have a chance of potentially grabbing one plot of land, if any even still remain at this point.
If you want to get a whitelist for the GTD or FCFS Rounds, then you might be able to do so through community events, but the easiest way to get a FCFS Whitelist is to simply play the game and refer friends to it right now to try and earn 250 Gold. The deadline for securing a FCFS Whitelist is December 8th, 5 PM CET, and the developers encourage anyone interested to get this whitelist spot if you want to have a better chance at becoming a landowner.
While the total land supply is only 4000, this NFT sale has way less plots up for grabs, as a total of 2465 NFTs were sold in September’s Land Sale, according to an official Discord announcement from that month. This means that this Final Phase Land Sale, which is taking place before the game’s worldwide release, should have 1535 Lands up for grabs across 5 land sizes:
The application for Strongholds, Forts, and Lands in general is still only up for a couple of hours at the time of writing. You can apply for a Fort or Stronghold using this application page, and you can also try filling out a Land Application here, which is for Medium and Large Lands. If you think you might not be able to buy land through this sale, then filling the Land Application could give you another chance at getting one sometime after the sale, though the team will be “very selective” in choosing who gets accepted. These application links are also available in the #landsale-faq section of the game’s official Discord server.
The mentioned discounts are said to be available to early buyers only. Each land differs not only in size but also in the perks it provides. Specific details on how much supply is left per land size does not seem to be available. We only know the total supply for each, as listed above, and given that there’s only 1535 plots remaining, the leftover quantity must be quite thin across all types.
This land sale takes place in a dedicated page on the game’s official website, which you can access by creating an account there using your email address. Once you’ve created an account, you should link your Immutable Passport containing the amount of USDC needed to participate. Next to the official announcement video, you can also check out this detailed step-by-step video guide to learn more about how you can get your land.
Land in this free to play title is non-instanced and visible in the game’s open world, meaning anyone can see your plot as they explore. Owning land allows you to gain various resources by doing activities such as woodcutting, farming, and more. With these resources, you can craft valuable assets, including Tradepacks, which are packages of materials you can exchange at the Tradepost for Silver Coins and potentially rare resources.
When you buy land, you have the opportunity to claim it across many different parts of this MMO, giving you freedom to choose your desired spot you’d like to call home. Speaking of home, the game’s housing system allows you to build your own houses on these plots by choosing from a variety of different design options. How big your house is depends on the land size, so if you own Large Land, you will be able to construct a Large House. The size of the house dictates the amount of rooms it can have. Rooms bring various benefits to player progression. For example, a Bedroom gives bonus XP for various activities, while an Arcana Room boosts your Intelligence stat.
Each land also has a different Perk Rarity. There are a total of 6 different Perk Rarities, and you won’t know which one you get until you randomly roll for one after purchase. A month before the game’s Global Release, you will be able to roll for a specific perk, with higher Perk Rarities giving you the chance of getting a better Perk.
Once you purchase Land, you can claim your spot on the game’s massive map and start collecting resources from it right away. Land ownership brings various other benefits too, including a share of 25.25% of the $QUEST total supply.
