Tavernlight Games, the developers of Immutable-powered sandbox MMORPG RavenQuest, have announced a new game set in the same fantasy universe: RavenIdle, launching with a play to earn Season 0 on July 4.
RavenIdle is an idle RPG officially part of the RavenQuest ecosystem. This expansion to the popular web3 gaming IP enables players to passively play and earn even while away by sending their own heroes on challenging adventures. Conquer various dungeons with dozens of floors and a wide range of beasts while building out a custom class by spending points across 3 different skill trees. Grow and customize your own land with a number of different crops and send tradepacks from one city to another to earn more rewards. Outside of battle mode, collect rare resources through gathering and mining modes as you craft strong gear to further strengthen your customizable character. As you play, you also get to compete for $QUEST tokens and unlock exclusive rewards by doing daily missions that can range from crafting plenty of items to slaying 100 monsters of a certain type.
You can expect to enjoy all this through a clean UI that is paired with charming pixelated graphics that the team's MMORPG is known for on July 4. Just like the flagship title, this one will also be live on Immutable’s powerhouse gaming chain. It will be available as a free to play title with risk to earn gameplay on web browsers, mobile devices, and Telegram.
RavenIdle Season 0 kicks off with a starting $70k seeded prize pool that could grow up to $570k in rewards.
The rewards pool grows when players buy the Battle Pass, with 100% of every Battle Pass purchase going towards the prize pool. It’s not stated what the contents of this Battle Pass will be, nor is there a price tag yet, but playing for 5 minutes a day seems like it will be all you need to enjoy the game’s first season. Expect $QUEST tokens to be included in the prize pool, with more detailed info on everything likely to follow as we get closer to launch.
In the meantime, if you want to win a free Battle Pass, then be sure to chime in the team’s official caption contest, where you simply have to follow the game’s official X account, quote and repost the pinned trailer, as well as write a high quality caption while using the hashtag #RavenIdleJuly4. The better the quality of the caption, the better chance you have of winning, so there’s no need to worry about having a big following and getting plenty of views on your post. The winners are set to be picked on June 26 at 10 AM PST, so be sure to give your caption to the trailer as soon as you can if you want a free Battle Pass to easily get started with your play to earn journey in this new idle RPG.
Whether you’re a fan of idle games or someone already spending hours and hours in RavenQuest, Tavernlight Games’ new title is certainly one that will be worth checking out. Certain players have already been able to playtest and have had many positive things to say about this new blockchain-powered game. The web3 gaming studio won’t stop their expansion of their IP with RavenIdle either, as they’ve already teased a 3rd game to be coming out by the end of this year. Here’s hoping the developers continue to go from strength to strength, delivering quality blockchain gaming on the ever-growing Immutable ecosystem for both web2 and web3 gamers to have fun in while earning some neat crypto rewards along the way.
