RavenQuest has released New Wilds, version 1.3.2, expanding the world with 13 new hunting spots holding roughly 4,200 additional creatures. The update went live on September 1, 2026.
The new content spreads across five regions and targets the upper end of the level range, with most spots sitting between level 90 and 98.
Where the New Creatures Are
Ostera takes the largest share with five locations. Direhorn Drakes and Stonelings both appear beneath Tremoring Hills at levels 96 to 98. Saltdusks occupy Butchers Point at levels 95 to 97. Molebears arrive as an entirely new creature type at Stonebound Burrow, also at 95 to 97. Stone and Leaf Naturalists appear across multiple locations covering levels 83 to 85 and 93 to 95.
Glaceforde gains three locations. Yetis hold Frostclaw Cliff at levels 94 to 96, while Iceforged Dwarves appear at Snowdeep Mines at 90 to 92 and again at Deadbane Halls at a lower band of 70 to 75.
Elder Coast picks up two. Draconic Elves take Crowfell at levels 94 to 96, and Dwarves occupy Thormarok Mountain at 92 to 94, a location that has been newly unsealed rather than simply repopulated.
Frost Steppes adds Yornish at Yorn'omaala at levels 93 to 95, and Rohna Woods gains Saltdusks at Saltdusk Keep at 92 to 94.
Three new auras arrived alongside the content: Spellweave, Dreadmist, and Emberborn.
Disconnect Protection Explained
The second headline feature addresses something every open world game with loot loss has to handle. A connection drop in a dangerous area used to mean losing everything a character was carrying through no fault of the player.
Disconnect Protection keeps a character in game for up to 45 seconds after a disconnect, immune to damage and untargetable. On reconnecting, the player gets an 8 second grace period before becoming exposed again. Protection ends the moment the player takes any action, whether that is moving, attacking, or changing equipment.
Tradepack carriers get considerably more. A character carrying a tradepack in a Safe or Peace Zone stays online for five minutes, which prevents the tradepack loss that would otherwise follow a drop during transport.
The system has clear boundaries. Protection does not activate during PvP combat, while under Skull status, during Tyrant encounters, in Aether Echo, in Rifts, or during Arena and Guild Wars. After reconnecting, a player also gets a prevention window of 120 to 180 seconds against unjustified PvP engagement.
Abuse thresholds stop the feature from becoming an escape tool. Protection becomes temporarily unavailable after 3 disconnects within 60 minutes, 4 within 180 minutes, 5 within 300 minutes, or 6 or more in a single day.
Onboarding and Quality of Life
Google Sign-In is now available for new accounts on both the website and the game client, cutting registration down to a single step for anyone who has never made an account.
Player Inspection adds a context menu option showing another player's equipped items and character statistics, which is the standard way MMO players learn builds from each other without needing to ask.
World map improvements add dedicated floor navigation buttons for multi level areas and group overlapping markers into expandable icons, reducing clutter on a map that has been getting denser with every content update.
Two balance changes stand out. PvP damage reduction rises from 50 percent to 60 percent, cutting the effectiveness of burst damage and lengthening fights. Ring Warforging Scrolls double their stat bonus from 20 percent to 40 percent while the cost stays at 50 shards.
Smaller adjustments cover Rangers Company now displaying available charges and next restoration time, Currency Exchange automatically showing the rate at a single unit of input, and Portuguese translations added across the Character, Infusion, and RavenCards interfaces.
Combat refinements for several creature types are in quality assurance and will follow in a later release.
Inside RavenQuest
RavenQuest is a free to play MMORPG, open world, and strategy hybrid running on Immutable zkEVM, playable in the browser with NFT support. It was formerly known as Ravendawn Eternal, and the studio describes it as a massive and dynamically changing world.
The design follows classic MMO conventions rather than reinventing them. Players level through hunting, engage in open world PvP with a Skull status system marking aggressors, run tradepacks between regions for profit, and take part in Arena matches and Guild Wars. Aether Echo and Rifts provide additional instanced content, and Tyrant encounters serve as high difficulty world targets.
The tradepack system is where the economy and the risk layer meet. Moving goods between regions pays well and makes a player a target while carrying them, which is precisely why Disconnect Protection extends to five minutes for anyone holding one in a safe zone.
The game has drawn steady recognition on PlayToEarn, placing tenth in both 2025 Game of the Year and 2025 Best Strategy Game, and fifth for Most Anticipated Game in 2024. It currently sits at rank number 148 with a score of 440, up 12.53 percent.
New Wilds is live now, and the newly unsealed Thormarok Mountain is the piece nobody has explored yet.
