'Ragnarok Online' Franchise is Coming to the Ronin Network

Ragnarok Online, the renowned MMORPG franchise, is taking a huge leap in blockchain gaming. Its latest iteration, Ragnarok: Monster World, is set to launch on the Ronin Network. This marks a groundbreaking partnership between the game's original developer, Gravity, and the Web3 studio ZERO X AND. 

Ragnarok: Monster World is a strategy game that includes tower defense and monster collecting. Players will immerse themselves in a dynamic world where they can collect various Ragmons—monstrous creatures with unique abilities. These creatures can be used to battle against others in PvP mode, join forces in guild-based land occupations, or progress through story-driven PvE battles. 

The game aims to bridge the gap between mainstream players and blockchain gaming. Ronin Network, known for hosting popular titles like Axie Infinity, provides a robust platform for Ragnarok. This partnership is poised to expand the reach of Web3 gaming. 

Ragnarok Online has long been a powerhouse in the industry, especially in Southeast Asia. Its latest shift to blockchain gaming is met with high expectations, as it promises nostalgic gameplay for all. The inclusion of Ragmons as both in-game and on-chain assets brings a novel aspect to the game. This allows for the merging and leveling up of these creatures, similar to the breeding systems found in Axie Infinity.
