A Second Round in Quick Succession

Pumpcade's seed close follows the oversubscribed $1M pre-seed announced on April 2, 2026, which was led by Pump.fun with participation from Foundation Capital and angel investor RadioSolace. Foundation Capital now doubles down with its second Pumpcade check, described in the announcement as a renewed commitment to fast-paced, instantly resolved markets. Jump_ joins the cap table for the first time, brought on specifically for its expertise in decentralized technology infrastructure.

The speed of the two consecutive rounds reflects the momentum Pumpcade built in private beta, which launched in January. In that period, approximately 500 users generated thousands of markets on testnet, giving the team its first real validation at scale ahead of a wider public rollout.

What Pumpcade Is Building

Pumpcade is a prediction market platform designed around the speed and distribution of live streaming. Users can create markets with a single click directly inside livestream chats, compressing the entire market lifecycle to between 60 seconds and 30 minutes. Markets resolve automatically through direct official API calls or deterministic data, removing human arbiters, oracle networks, and committee-based resolution entirely.

The platform supports markets across crypto prices, stock movements, live sports, gaming outcomes, and real-time data feeds. A user watching a League of Legends stream, for instance, can create and participate in a market on whether the streamer wins their current match, with the result pulled automatically from the game publisher's official API at expiry. The same model extends to traffic data, financial feeds, and any verifiable external data source.

Pumpcade's tagline is "Predict, Resolve, Claim," and the founding thesis is explicit: truth machines were not meant to be resolved by committees. The platform's founder, Harrison Leggio, has framed Pumpcade as the natural successor to a generation of prediction market infrastructure that is too slow, too contested, and too friction-heavy for the expectations modern platforms have set. "Modern trading platforms have conditioned users to expect instant feedback and faster dopamine hits. Pumpcade is built for exactly that, with markets revolving in seconds, not weeks," Leggio said at the pre-seed announcement.

Jump_ and Foundation Capital

Jump_ is the trading and infrastructure arm of Jump Trading Group, a Chicago-based quantitative trading firm that has operated in crypto since 2015. The firm has been one of the most active builders in decentralized infrastructure, leading or contributing to Firedancer, the high-performance validator client for Solana written in C, as well as Wormhole, the cross-chain messaging protocol, and Pyth, the high-frequency onchain oracle. Jump_ has invested across Solana-native infrastructure and broader Web3 ecosystems, with portfolio positions including Aptos, Sui, Injective, and dozens of DeFi and infrastructure projects.

The addition of Jump_ to Pumpcade's cap table is notable given the platform's Solana-native architecture and its reliance on real-time data systems that align closely with Jump's core technical expertise. Bringing provably correct market resolutions at high frequency is a problem that shares structural similarities with the kind of low-latency, high-fidelity systems Jump has built at the infrastructure level.

Foundation Capital is a venture firm that first backed Pumpcade in the April pre-seed round alongside Pump.fun. Its continued participation in the seed signals conviction that the prediction market format Pumpcade is building has durable economic potential.

Onboarding and the Path to Mainnet

Pumpcade is built to reach players and participants who have never touched a crypto wallet. The platform supports debit card deposits, removing the seed-phrase and gas-fee friction that blocks most web3 onboarding flows. A user can fund an account with a standard card and start participating in markets immediately.

The platform's private beta has run entirely on testnet. The open beta, followed by mainnet launch, is scheduled for Q2 2026. The new $5M in seed capital will support engineering expansion and the go-to-market push needed to accelerate that timeline.

Context: Prediction Markets and Gaming

Pumpcade enters a category that has seen substantial validation in the cycle. Kalshi, a regulated prediction market exchange, raised $1 billion in 2026. Polymarket closed a $600 million round. Both operate primarily on longer-duration event markets resolving over days or weeks. Pumpcade's positioning is specifically the opposite: ultra-short duration, livestream-embedded, and instantly resolved.

The gaming and streaming audience represents the most natural user base for the format. Esports broadcasts, streaming platforms, and competitive gaming all generate a constant stream of verifiable real-time events ideal for the sub-30-minute market structure Pumpcade is designed around. The platform's early integration with Pump.fun's livestream infrastructure gave it a community-first distribution advantage that traditional fintech prediction platforms lack.

With $6M in disclosed capital now raised, an oversubscribed seed from two of web3's most active institutional players, and a mainnet timeline in the next quarter, Pumpcade is entering the public phase of its build with meaningful institutional weight behind it.
