Web3 gaming ecosystem Wemix has announced that pre-registration for Legend of YMIR begins on August 19 alongside the launch of Valhalla Trials, giving the blockchain gaming community the chance to sign up early and win special rewards across 3 different events.

How to Pre-Register for Legend of YMIR

Anyone will be able to pre-register ahead of the upcoming release of Legend of YMIR by signing up to an official pre-registration page that is set to launch on Tuesday, August 19, UTC+8. This phase will continue to run until the game’s official launch.

For now, you can check out a teaser page linked in the official announcement post. This teaser page provides an overview of 3 upcoming events plus Valhalla Trials, in all of which participants have a chance of winning exclusive prizes.

Win Special Rewards in 3 Legend of YMIR Pre-Registration Events

To further encourage gamers to sign up early, the developers have announced that they will kick off 3 pre-registration events alongside Valhalla Trials to give token holders and everyone a chance to win special rewards and benefits.

The 3 events include: Special Reward Giveaway, Celebration Lottery, and Exclusive WEMIX Staking Bonus.

The Special Reward Giveaway event is designed to reward everyone who pre-registers with a “Pre-registration Reward Package”. This package will be awarded at launch, and the contents of it have not been revealed at the time of writing. Details for this event however have teased that bonus special rewards, such as “gWEMIX”, are planned to be given away in other future events that will take place before the web3 MMO officially launches.

The second event is Celebration Lottery, and as the name implies, it’s essentially a raffle celebrating the start of pre-registration. As such, anyone who simply pre-registers will automatically enter this raffle, which seems to be comprised of the Golden Ticket Lottery & Buddy Boost Event. Again, there’s not much info to go on here either, but you will be able to invite friends to this lottery, and doing so is said to give you more chances of winning prizes. It’s unknown how many winners the raffle will have, nor have the specific rewards been revealed, but everything will probably become known and clear once August 19 rolls by.

Next to these simple two events that are basically free for anyone to join in on, the third event, Exclusive WEMIX Staking Bonus, is very much geared towards holders of the $WEMIX token. This is a special staking event in which token holders can win rewards by staking an unspecified amount of $WEMIX tokens. Given that this is referred to as being an exclusive staking competition, the more tokens you stake, the better your chances will probably be in winning a bigger share of goodies. In this case, what is already known is that stakers can earn limited NFT lootboxes that seem to be only possible to acquire through this event. The supply and distribution method was not mentioned, but anyone who does end up getting this exclusive on-chain lootbox is getting a tradable NFT that can be freely traded on the official Wemix Play marketplace, with trading becoming active before the game even launches.

Valhalla Trials is a questing platform in which you complete missions to earn points that can be redeemed for various rewards and benefits.

This mission-based platform launches on August 19, alongside all the other sign-up events. The types of missions that there will be to complete have not been revealed, but you can likely expect to be doing the usual social tasks that you’ve come to expect from blockchain-powered gaming ecosystems. Once you complete all of them, you can look forward to seeing new missions added in gradually across stages, giving you more opportunities to earn more points.

Points earned from this questing system will give you access to a variety of rewards and perks. If you have enough points, you will be able to exchange them for tokens, redeem them for special benefits, spend them in an exclusive web shop, and use them to take part in events.
