Japanese ACG blockchain ecosystem PolkaFantasy has added more utilities to $ZENNY, its new game token launched in May. 

Players can now acquire Exp jewels using $ZENNY instead of XP tokens. The move comes as the team recognizes the need for a more dynamic system to build $ZENNY as a versatile token by enhancing its utility in the Polka ecosystem. This will empower players to strategize their in-game moves and better allocate their resources. 

Besides that, the pricing of Exp jewels will be adjusted based on the market conditions to foster a balanced gaming environment where all players have equal opportunities for growth and progression. 

According to the team, $ZENNY will work somewhat like a platform token once it integrates 3rd-party blockchain titles into its ecosystem. It will act as a versatile token across different gameplay experiences, holding value not just in one game but across various interconnected worlds within the fantasy game. $ZENNY will also be useful in a future NFT drop, where players can use the token to purchase new characters and kick off their journey in PolkaFantasy. 

Despite that, XP will remain as the native token for the game, with $ZENNY as the primary utility token. The team will strive for a seamless integration between the current XP system and the new ZENNY utility, resulting in a more dynamic and rewarding gameplay experience.
