Sky Mavis is launching its latest play to earn event, Ronin Arcade, in less than 12 hours. The event, which runs from October 23 through November 13, brings together 9 games on the Ronin network, giving players a way to complete in-game quests, stack points, and trade them in for rewards like 100,000 RON, exclusive NFTs, a PlayStation 5, and other physical prizes.
A New Web3 Hub
Ronin Arcade is being billed as a web3 take on a classic arcade. It's a time-limited campaign where players take on quests in a mix of Ronin-based games and collect points based on how many they finish. The points system ties into an onchain leaderboard, with top performers standing a chance to win $4,000 worth of RON or land a spot among the top 250 players, each guaranteed at least $45 in RON.
This new format not only shows off the variety of games in the Ronin ecosystem, but also starts building a reputation layer on the chain. High-performing players will be marked for future benefits from builders across the network. Those with the strongest verified activity could be tapped for future drops, special perks, or exclusive access tied to their onchain behavior.
How Ronin Arcade Works
Once the arcade goes live, you'll be able to log in using a connected wallet and either play for free or buy a Premium Battle Pass for 25 RON. With the pass, you can get access to exclusive quests, higher weekly point caps, and the Premium Shop for extra rewards.
The quests themselves are tied to 9 games, including:
- Axie Infinity
- Pixels
- Lumiterra
- Fishing Frenzy
- Angry Dynomites
- Sunflower Land
- Wild Forest
- Sabong Saga
- Cambria
Players pick a quest, complete the task in-game, and then return to the arcade page to verify and collect points. Free players can take part in limited quests and social tasks, while Battle Pass holders unlock bigger rewards with Silver, Gold, and Special Quests.
Point Rewards and Redemption
All points earned through quests can be used in 2 ways: either redeemed right away for instant prizes or saved until the end to compete for leaderboard payouts.
Holding onto your points increases your chances of reaching the top spots:
- 1st Place: $4,000 in RON
- 2nd Place: $2,000 in RON
- 3rd Place: $800 in RON
- Top 250: $45 minimum each
But if you'd rather go for direct items, the Shop lets you spend your points as soon as you earn them. Available items include:
- Ronin NFTs (Axies, Mokis, Chickens)
- Fortune Coins (used in Fortune Spins)
- Avatars and in-game cosmetics
- Raffle Tickets for real-world prizes
Inside the Raffle System
The raffle is another major part of Ronin Arcade. Raffle Tickets can be bought using your Arcade Points through the Shop. Once claimed, they become NFTs and show up in your inventory. These tickets are entered into 3 weekly raffles, each with a prize pool that includes:
- Graded One Piece collectible cards
- A PlayStation 5 (or RON equivalent)
Tickets can be traded or gifted, but only unused (unrolled) ones can enter upcoming raffles. Once a raffle snapshot is taken, the NFT metadata updates to show the result. Rolled tickets hold no future value, so it's important to check before buying them from other users.
Snapshots happen every Monday at 00:00 UTC, and winners are announced on Ronin's X account and Discord. Items will be sent straight to the wallet tied to the winner's Ronin profile.
What You Need to Know About Physical Rewards
Sky Mavis will ship physical rewards like the PS5 or trading cards, but there are a few conditions. Winners in Vietnam and the Philippines will receive a PlayStation 5 directly. All other players will instead get RON tokens worth the console's value.
Shipping is covered by the company, and winners will need to fill out a form and confirm their info. If delivery can't be arranged for any reason, a RON payout equal to the item's market value will be given.
What to Expect When the Arcade Opens
While the event hasn't started yet, here's what players can expect once Ronin Arcade goes live:
- Free users can start completing Social Quests and Bronze Quests
- Battle Pass holders can unlock higher tier quests with much more point value
- Quest rewards range from 5 points for Social tasks to over 300 points for Special Premium Quests
- All quests give a random amount of points within their listed range
- Premium users will also be able to skip more quests weekly compared to free players
Sample reward ranges:
- Free Social Quest: 5 Points
- Free Bronze Quest: 7–10 Points
- Premium Silver Quest: 50–62 Points
- Premium Gold Quest: 130–150 Points
- Premium Special Quest: 280–333 Points
These quest types give players multiple ways to progress. Whether your aim is the leaderboard or direct redemptions, how you spend and save points becomes part of the strategy.
Referral Rewards and Early Purchase Bonuses
Players can also refer others to the event. Using a referral code, you earn bonus points based on how many friends buy a Battle Pass:
- 1 Referral = 50 points
- 3 Referrals = 120 points total
- 5 Referrals = 210 points total
This gives early users a clear edge heading into the first week. Also, players who buy their pass during the first 7 days will get a special airdrop as a bonus for getting in early.
How to Get Ready
To join Ronin Arcade, here's what players need to do once the gates open:
- Go to the Ronin Arcade site
- Click Sign In and connect your wallet
- Buy a Battle Pass (optional)
- View available quests
- Complete in-game tasks
- Return and click Verify to claim points
- Spend or save your points depending on your goal
The event promises more rewards as more players join. That's because a portion of every pass purchase adds to the prize pool, which means leaderboard rewards and raffle prizes scale as the community grows.
