Blockchain-powered AI gaming ecosystem and AI agent platform Memoria has officially kicked off Season 1 of the open beta version of browser-based web3 game Blitz Idle, giving the community the chance to play to earn $ARTERY tokens and NFTs through collaborative gameplay. Here’s what this public beta launch brings to the game and how you can start climbing the seasonal leaderboard for an airdrop of Artery Chain’s upcoming core token.

What’s New in Blitz Idle Open Beta Season 1?

The first open beta season for Blitz Idle introduces a new Weekly Raid Mode and a way bigger token prize pool in comparison to the previous playtest.

The Weekly Raid Mode is a new competitive game mode in which players can team up in Crews to go on challenging raids for a chance at topping weekend rankings to earn NFT drops and possibly $ARTERY tokens, according to info from official Discord announcements. This mode gives everyone “standardized equipment levels,” with a new set appearing each week, making for a fairer competitive experience. If you can find the right NFT to use with that week’s set, then that could be what gets you the advantage. This game mode also seems to only run on weekends, and Crews can register by paying a registration fee of 1000 $ARTERY, with the top 10 teams set to win NFTs. Though $ARTERY is not officially live yet, you can still earn it through an InfoFi campaign from Artery Chain’s official website, but also by staking AL NFTs, one of which you need to play this game anyways.

Aside from this new mode, the difficulty for the Daily Raid Boss has been rebalanced, and an issue that stopped the game from ending properly has been resolved.

The main Season 1 leaderboard features a prize pool of 20 million $ARTERY tokens up for grabs for the top 30 Crews that earn the most amount of Prestige Points from dealing the highest amount of damage against enemies in Daily Blitz sessions. That’s double the number of rewards that was available in Blitz Idle Trial Run 1, which ended last month.

How to Play to Earn in Memoria: Blitz Idle Open Beta Season 1

To play to earn in Blitz Idle Open Beta Season 1, you need to form 5-player crews of AL NFTs ready to take on daily raids against powerful bosses.

This means that to participate, each player must own one AL NFT, since it acts as the entry ticket to the game. While the collection is available on OpenSea and Blur via the Ethereum network, trading has been temporarily suspended until Memoria launches its own marketplace, which does still not seem to have happened at the time of writing. If you don’t own an AL NFT already, you will have to wait for the marketplace to go live on the Artery Chain. For existing holders, all eligible NFTs have already been upgraded and airdropped to the new Avalanche-powered blockchain.

If you do have an NFT, getting started is generally straightforward. Head to the game’s official website and connect the crypto wallet that holds your asset. Supported wallets include MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, Rabby, and WalletConnect. You’ll also need to register with an email address and link your X account to complete the sign-up process. If logging in or registering brings you to your profile page instead of the game, use the wheel on the left side of the website to access the ‘Game’ section, where you can access the game to start playing on your web browser.

Inside the game, select your AL NFT to begin creating a crew. As the host, you can invite up to 4 other players to join your team. Alternatively, you can use the Crew page to search for open groups and request to join. Once accepted, you are locked into that crew until the raid session ends, and hosts cannot remove members mid-session.

When the crew is full and everyone has chosen their NFTs, the host can launch the Daily Blitz session. Before combat begins, players are shown the rewards on offer and the enemy stats for the raid. During the session, AI-controlled avatars battle automatically in idle mode. Each Daily Blitz session uses up energy, limiting playtime to 4 raids a day.

Rewards scale with performance. Crews that deal more damage and secure higher daily leaderboard positions earn larger amounts of Prestige Points and rare items. At the end of the event, Prestige Points play a key role in determining a Crew’s overall ranking and their eligibility for this season's $ARTERY token airdrop.

Success in Blitz Idle is mostly about team consistency. Sticking with the same crew day after day increases your chances of landing in the top 30 leaderboard spots. The stronger your combined NFTs are, the more effective you will be against bosses, which directly boosts your odds of securing top-tier rewards. If you can find a good Crew to play to airdrop with, then you probably have a better shot of ranking high enough to win crypto rewards from this first open beta season.

Season 1 started on September 22 and does not have an official end date at the time of writing. If you’re looking for a more solo, free to play title instead, then you may want to try and play to airdrop in Memoria: Chronicles Idle Open Beta Season 1.

About Memoria

Memoria is an AI-driven gaming ecosystem that combines blockchain gaming, AI agents, memes, and wager-based mechanics. Originally backed by the Avalanche Foundation, the project launched its own L1 mainnet on Avalanche earlier this year to support the rollout of its second closed beta season for Chronicles Idle. By the end of June, however, Memoria underwent a significant shift by merging with Studio Artery and several other blockchain gaming projects. This move created a broader creator-focused platform that now runs on its own dedicated network: the Artery Chain.

This ecosystem uses AI agents and decentralized infrastructure to drive a variety of web3 gaming experiences. The platform is built around NFT-based nodes and playable characters from the AL NFT collection, supported by its native token $ALBERT. This token is being converted into $ARTERY, which serves as the core currency of the Artery Chain. $ARTERY is designed for multiple functions including gas fees, gameplay, staking, governance, lotteries, NFT creation, AI tools, and dynamic game content. An official TGE date has not been confirmed yet, but it does seem to be coming soon.

On the gaming front, Memoria has already introduced two browser-based titles: Chronicles Idle and Blitz Idle. In Blitz Idle, players had the chance to participate in Trial Run 1 earlier this year, which has now been followed up by the public beta launch, shortly after Chronicles Idle had its own open beta season go live for anyone to play and earn in for free. Looking forward, the official ecosystem roadmap outlines plans for additional features such as a meme launchpad and two more games. While these were initially detailed in their whitepaper, the recent merger with Studio Artery may influence how and when these future products are delivered.
