Immutable is back with Battle Pass Season 6 for Gods Unchained, now live for 28 days of TCG fun to enjoy while playing to earn various rewards, including $GODS tokens. Here’s everything included in this latest edition and how you can get started with earning through turn-based card gameplay.
What’s New in Gods Unchained Battle Pass Season 6?
Season 6 launched on September to give Gods Unchained players all new rewards to play and earn by progressing through one or both tracks of the wild-themed Battle Pass: Fancy or Whale.
Next to the usual two tracks of the Battle Pass, this season brings 3 new Core cards and 2 Promo cards. The 3 new Core cards are called Altruistic Philanthropist, Impification, and Confiscatory Taxation, and you can find them as direct pass rewards, but also in Promo Packs and Whale Packs. As for the 2 Promo cards, one of them, Call of the Guardian, can also be found in Promo and Whale Packs, while the other one, a Diamond Promo Auroch Herd, seems to be exclusive to Whale Packs only. Inside Whale Packs, buyers can also find a bonus Call of the Guardian card: one Meteorite and one Shadow Call of the Guardian. You can check out specific drop rates in the relevant section of the season’s official Google Sheet.
This season also represents your second and last chance to collect tickets for the upcoming Adusa event, which is a raffle for the Adusa Mythic Variant, a powerful skin that isn’t just for cosmetic purposes, as it provides a whopping 25x multiplier for the game’s Daily Play & Earn system.
Whether you want to stack up on more tickets to increase your chance of winning the Adusa prize, or are simply interested in unlocking all the other goodies, or both, then you will want to buy either the Fancy Pass or the Whale Pass, and while both feature 60 levels to grind through to unlock rewards, the latter track serves as the only way to get a bit more entries for the Adusa event.
That being said, the Fancy Pass is the cheaper and standard track through which you can earn tokens, packs, cosmetics, and more for the price of 300 $GODS. Specifically, you can unlock:
- 250 $GODS tokens,
- 10 Core Legendary Packs,
- 8 Core Epic Packs,
- 5 Sealed Tickets
- New Core Shadows: Altruistic Philanthropist, Impification, and Confiscatory Taxation (x2 each)
- Shadow Charging Oryx & Escaped Silverback (x2 each)
- Various cosmetic rewards that include the Wild Mana Wheel, Golden Fall Aeona portrait, and Rage Aeona and Lethal Hevner emotes.
The Whale Pass costs 750 $GODS and includes all the rewards from the Fancy Pass, plus an Adusa ticket upon purchase, while the following can be unlocked by leveling up:
- 35 Promo Packs (30 extra over Fancy)
- 10 Sealed Tickets (5 extra over Fancy)
- 5 Battle Whale Packs (that’s Core, Rare+, Gold+)
- Diamonds: Charging Oryx (x2), Escaped Silverback (x2)
- Special Diamond Promo: Auroch Herd (x2)
- New Core Gold: Altruistic Philanthropist, Impification, Confiscatory Taxation (x2 each)
- Wild Cardback
- Adusa ticket at level 40
- Shadow + Meteorite Call of the Guardian (though you can get this Promo drop in Promo and Whale Packs as well)
Players can start off with the Fancy Pass and simply upgrade to the Whale Pass later on if interested. This upgrade can be done at any time during the season, with rewards automatically unlocking for the levels you’ve already unlocked. So, if you gain enough XP to make it to level 25 in the Fancy Pass and decide to upgrade to the Whale Pass, all rewards for the first 25 levels of this higher track will instantly unlock for you. You don’t need to grind and level up these tracks separately.
“Season 6 isn’t just another pass—it’s the first taste of the new Core cards, the last call for Adusa prep, and your shot at some of the shiniest Diamond and Gold exclusives yet.”
Here’s how you can get started.
How to Play and Earn in Gods Unchained Battle Pass Season 6
Gods Unchained is a free to play trading card game that is made by Immutable and thus of course powered by Immutable zkEVM, which is where it migrated to earlier this year after previously running on Immutable X.
In order to maximize your earnings in Battle Pass Season 6, you will want to play and earn by purchasing either the lower track, which is the Fancy Pass, or the higher track that is the Whale Pass. Though there is a Battle Pass page on the official website, in order to make your purchase, you will have to do it through the PC version of the game itself, which you can download from their website for free on Windows and Mac, as well as through the Epic Games Store. You can also play the game on mobile, including Android and iOS, through the Google Play Store and Apple App Store respectively, but purchasing the Battle Pass must be done through the desktop version.
From September 9, you have 28 days to level up through the Battle Pass tracks to unlock various rewards, including $GODS tokens and a variety of NFT cards and cosmetics. Both tracks feature 60 levels to grind through by accumulating XP through PvP gameplay. That’s a total of 9800 XP to grind for, and anyone who consistently gains 350 XP every day can reach max level in 28 days. If you’re a fan of card games like Hearthstone, you’ll likely enjoy building your own deck and choosing from one of 6 gods you’d like to be your main character and shape your playstyle around.
As you grind your way throughout this season for its limited time exclusive rewards, you can also enjoy the game’s other web3-powered systems, such as Daily Play & Earn and Weekend Ranked. Reach Rank 7 at minimum to earn $GODS tokens daily based on your first 10 matches and quality of cards in your deck while earning Core and expansion packs based on your rank and victories in the first 18 games on weekends. Earn more rewards by entering the token-gated and roguelike-based Sealed Mode while minting cards earned from packs into tradable on-chain assets by burning cards and spending $GODS plus in-game Flux currency at the Forge.
