This event is open to all Fishing Frenzy players, allowing participants to compete on two separate leaderboards: one for fishing and one for cooking. In Fishing Frenzy, players spend most of their time fishing in a relaxed but sort of skill-based setting. The core loop involves casting a line at different distances, waiting for a bite, and then reeling in the catch through a short mini-game. The goal is to keep the moving fish within a highlighted zone until the timer runs out. Each cast consumes a small amount of energy, which can be replenished by eating sushi. Sushi is purchased with gold, and gold is earned by selling fish caught during gameplay.

By simply enjoying this primary gameplay loop, you get to climb the fishing leaderboard. To rank your way up the cooking leaderboard as well for this contest, you simply have to cook the fish you catch and use the available cooking recipes to create various dishes.
