Web3 gaming ecosystem MARBLEX and Immutable have announced the launch of the Immutable Play Quest Event for Dice Go, opening up a competitive leaderboard for blockchain gamers to climb and play to earn a share of 43,500 $MBX tokens over the course of almost 30 days.

What Is Dice Go?

Dice Go is a real-time PvP board game in which you roll the dice, build landmarks and conquer cities to win matches and climb leaderboards for web3 rewards. Put your strategies and luck to the test in colorful 1v1v1 or 2v2 matches featuring a colorful cast of characters and gameplay that combines the feeling of classic board games with blockchain-powered competitive gaming. As you win fast-paced matches and climb the rankings, you get to earn unique NFT characters and assets that can be traded and upgraded, staying with you from one match to the next for true player ownership.

Published by MARBLEX, the blockchain gaming-focused subsidiary of Netmarble, and developed by NTRIPLE, this casual web3 game can be played for free on Android and iOS mobile devices by downloading it through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store respectively. If you haven’t played before, then now might be a good time to jump in, as this new play to earn event just kicked off on September 24 and is set to run for almost a month, with token awards awaiting the best and most dedicated players.

What Is Dice Go’s Immutable Play Quest Event?

Dice Go’s Immutable Play Quest Event is yet another new leaderboard event on the ever-growing Immutable Play gaming platform through which players can complete a variety of quests to climb the rankings for a chance of winning token rewards, in this case being 43,500 $MBX tokens for the top 2500 participants.

The winner will walk away with 1200 $MBX, the core token of the MARBLEX ecosystem that has expanded further into web3 gaming with new games and a $20m investment.

Here is the full reward distribution (per player):

  • Rank 1: 1,200 $MBX
  • Ranks 2–10: 700 $MBX
  • Ranks 11–25: 150 $MBX
  • Ranks 26–100: 100 $MBX
  • Ranks 101–250: 25 $MBX
  • Ranks 251–2500: 10 $MBX

To climb to the top, you have to complete various quests found on the game’s official Immutable Play page. There are daily quests that refresh every 24 hours at midnight UTC, but also one-off quests that can be done at any point while the event is still live. More quests will be added throughout the campaign, while rewards will be airdropped at some point after the event is over. If there is a tie in rankings, the participant that reached the higher score earlier will be the one to get the advantage.

How to Play and Earn in Dice Go x Immutable Play Quest Event

To play and earn in this new Immutable Play-powered Leaderboard Quest Event, from September 24 to October 23, 23:59 UTC+9, you will have to head to Dice Go’s official event page and login with your Immutable Passport using your email address or social sign in option such as Google, Apple, or Facebook. This makes it easy for anyone to get started with this web3 event, regardless of blockchain knowledge.

Once you’re logged in, you should see a list of all available quests on the right side of the page. There are daily quests and one-off quests. Most of these are gameplay-related quests, with some Discord and X social tasks also included to drive engagement and community activity, including one task that lets you earn points by inviting up to 5 friends to win 1 classic match.

Before you can do your first quest, you will have to press the “Follow now” button to follow the game on Immutable’s platform and gain some Gems for doing so; more on those later. Doing so will allow you to click on all the other quests. Your first quest is of course to login and start playing the game itself, and clicking it will take you to one of the game’s app store pages to download the blockchain title for free. You can try the game out with a guest login, sign in with Google/Apple, or sign in with Immutable Passport. To probably participate in this leaderboard-based event, it’s best you sign in with the same Immutable Passport you use on Immutable Play in order to have your quest progress properly tracked. In a Discord announcement, it’s been said that you should make sure that if you’re logging in with your Apple ID, your email should be set to public, “or you will not be eligible to participate.”

The available quests range from winning a Classic Match and Fortune Match to building a certain number of Landmarks and collecting a specific amount of Building Cards. While Classic Matches can be played with in-game money, Fortune Matches require using special Green Tickets, as these matches feature larger rewards. You can get Green Tickets using gMBX, which is acquired by swapping $MBX through the ecosystem’s MBX Swap service. Alternatively, you can get Gold Tickets as an in-app purchase and use those to participate as well.

Each quest completed gives you varying amounts of leaderboard points, but some of them also award you with Gems, the core platform currency of Immutable Play. Gems give you the opportunity to earn platform rewards by redeeming them for Keys of varying rarity. With Keys, you can enter Weekly Draws to earn rewards such as $IMX tokens and more Gems, as well as a free Weekly Draw entry or a Key Tier-Up to give you a larger share of the weekly prize pool.

At the time of writing, there are a total of 1101 players climbing the Dice Go Leaderboard. There is about a month to climb the rankings, so if you want to play to earn $MBX tokens and some Gems along the way, then it’s best to start playing as soon as possible.

This month, Immutable formed its own mobile gaming division to tap into the $121 billion market.
