The developers of Bitminer have announced the web3 game’s 2nd Crafting Event, starting from October 6 with more NFT rewards to play to earn for a limited time.
What Is Bitminer?
Bitminer is a crypto mining simulator in which players build their own mining empire out of NFT assets in order to generate hashpower and earn token rewards. Use NFT miners to mine one of 4 different tokens: $mBTC, $mLTC, $mXMR, and $mDOGE. These are actual tokens on Ronin’s Katana DEX. There is a specific type of upgradable miner for each of these tokens that you can craft, and you can combine these NFTs to create a Farm that mines a single token while burning the rest. Additionally, players can also use Nodes to mine multiple tokens, and these can also be combined to form a Validator generating higher hashpower for 3 tokens, while consuming one.
The better your mining setup, the more tokens you can earn in this Ronin-powered browser game, which features a player-driven economy in which you can also utilize other key gameplay systems, including blending (upgrading), trading, and crafting. For this new event, the focus is on crafting mechanics. Here’s how it works.

What Is Bitminer’s 2nd Crafting Event?
Bitminer’s 2nd crafting event is a leaderboard-based campaign which challenges players to earn as many Crafting Points as possible within a limited time period by minting NFTs from October 6, 12 PM UTC, to October 16, 12 PM UTC.
Crafting Points are earned by minting NFTs in the following ways:
- Minting from the Miner Packs (in-game)
- Minting from the Genesis Pack
- Minting from the Blueprint Pack
- Minting through Blending Of Miners
- Minting through Blending Of Farms (Miners -> Farms)
- Minting through Blending Of Blueprints
The amount of leaderboard points earned from these activities depends on a number of factors, including the type of Pack being opened, the rarity of the Miner being minted/blended, the rarity of the Blueprint being minted/blended, as well as the rarity of the Farm being crafted. The full points distribution breakdown has been revealed, so if you want to know which activity gives you the most points, then take a look at the following:
- Crafting Points earned from Opening Packs:
- Miner Pack Open = 5 Points
- Genesis Pack Open = 10 Points
- Genesis Farm Pack Open = 30 Points
- Crafting Points earned from Minting/Blending Miners:
- Common Miner Mint/Blend = 1 Point
- Rare Miner Mint/Blend = 3 Points
- Epic Miner Mint/Blend = 8 Points
- Legendary Miner Mint/Blend = 20 Points
- Crafting Points earned from Minting/Blending Blueprints:
- Common Blueprint Mint = 3 Point
- Rare Blueprint Mint/Blend = 7 Points
- Epic Blueprint Mint/Blend = 20 Points
- Legendary Miner Mint/Blend = 50 Points
- Crafting Points earned from Crafting Farms:
- Common Farm Craft = 4 Point
- Rare Farm Craft = 15 Points
- Epic Farm Craft = 40 Points
- Legendary Farm Craft = 100 Points
It’s important to note that after this event is over, all Miner Packs will be removed from the in-game shop, and supposedly “will never return,” according to the official X announcement. This makes the event your last chance to craft as many Miners as you can.
In terms of leaderboard rewards, this event features an NFT prize pool said to be valued at 10k+ $RON. The reward pool is up for grabs for the top 30 crafters and includes the following:
- 1 Rank: 2x mBTC Legendary Farm + 3x mBTC Legendary Miner
- 2 Rank: 1x mBTC Legendary Farm + 4x mBTC Legendary Miner
- 3 Rank: 2x mBTC Epic Farm + 3× mBTC Legendary Miner
- 4 Rank: 1x mBTC Epic Farm + 2x mBTC Legendary Miner
- 5 - 6 Ranks: 1x mBTC Epic Farm
- 7 - 10 Ranks: 1x Rare Farm + 1x mLTC Legendary Miner
- 11 - 15 Ranks: 1x Common Farm + 1x mXMR Legendary Miner
- 15 - 20 Ranks: 1x mDOGE Legendary Miner + 1x mBTC Epic Miner + 1x mBTC Rare Miner
- 20 - 25 Ranks: 1x mLTC Legendary Miner + 1x mLTC Epic Miner
- 25 - 30 Ranks: 1x mXMR Legendary Miner
How to Play to Earn in Bitminer’s 2nd Crafting Event
To play to earn in Bitminer’s 2nd Crafting Event, you need to focus on collecting as many Crafting Points as possible for the duration of the campaign, and you can do so by opening Packs, minting/blending Miners & Blueprints, as well as by crafting Farms. This is not a free to play event.
You can get started with playing this browser-based game and participating in the event by heading to the game’s official website to access the mining simulator and find relevant links to NFT collections on OpenSea and the Ronin Market. Connecting your crypto wallet is required to play the game, after which you can set up your on-chain username, which does require paying gas fees in $RON to successfully set up your account.
Inside the game, you will find an in-game shop in which you can buy 4 types of Miner Packs: mBTC, mXMR, mLTC, and mDOGE. This means that each Pack contains a specific type of Miner designed for mining a particular token. Whichever you choose to buy, each of these Miner Packs should award 5 Crafting Points each when opening them. Packs are bought using $mBTC, $mXMR, $mLTC, and $mDOGE, so you will have to buy those on Katana DEX and deposit them to your game account. You can find official token contract addresses in the game’s Discord server. Genesis Packs, which give more points for opening them, can be bought using $RON on the Ronin Market or OpenSea.

To earn more points, you can also “blend” 2 of the same NFTs to gain a better one. So, if you have 2 NFTs of the same type and rarity, you can blend them to transform them into one new NFT of higher rarity, with the amount of leaderboard points awarded varying based on the rarity in question. You can do this with Miners and Blueprints, the latter being special NFTs used for combining Miners to create Farms.
Last but not least, you can also craft Farms using Miners for more points. The rarer the Farm, the more points awarded. You need 5 Miners of the same type and rarity, but also 1 Blueprint NFT that also matches the same type and rarity. A Blueprint NFT can be acquired from one of the two previously mentioned NFT marketplaces.
The more of these activities you do, the more points you are likelier to earn, especially if they involve rarer NFTs, as shown by the points system breakdown. As you’re trying to compete for the top leaderboard spots of this crafting event, you’re also generating in-game hashpower that determines your share of tokens from a global reward pool, effectively both participating in the event and playing to earn through the game’s regular systems. If you like NFT-based mining simulators, then Bitminer might be worth checking out.
