Play to Earn Daily with Gods Unchained

Gods Unchained revealed the date for their new, daily, play and earn program. On August 31st, players can begin earning daily GODS tokens based on their performance during the first ten matches of every day.

On August 31st, 2022, Gods Unchained will introduce a new, daily, play and earn mechanic. This allows players to share in a reward pool for GODS tokens. All they have to do is play a few matches!

Daily Play and Earn

This mechanic functions via a shared pool, something that we see a lot of blockchain games doing. Players earn Fragments by winning matches. This only counts for the first 10 matches of the day, and the first three matches generate twice as many Fragments. So bring out your best deck for those first matches of the day before you start experimenting!

The number of Fragments earned for a win varies based on player rank, win streak, and the number of shiny cards in the deck used. We covered this calculation in a previous article, and you can read the full details in the official blog post.

The amount of $GODS tokens in the pool also varies, based on the number of active players over the previous two days. The pool can range from 14,000 to 30,000 tokens. Players receive a percentage of the pool based on their percentage of the total Fragments earned that day across the entire player base. Gods Unchained will introduce a special dashboard on their site. Here you can track your status, see your previous results, and claim any earnings you might have.

The day resets at midnight UTC, the system then calculates every player's payout, and it starts all over again.

With the introduction of daily play and earn, $GODS tokens will be removed from ranked weekend rewards. This weekend (August 26th to the 28th), will be the last opportunity to earn GODS tokens from the ranked weekend. Players can still win packs from the weekend tournament.

Ranked Weekend and the daily earnings work separately from each other. So you can work on daily rewards on the weekends while still earning points for the tournament!
