Sleepagotchi Lite players once again have another $PIXEL event to play to earn in, as part of the game’s partnership with the Pixels ecosystem. After hosting the $35k “Find Reina” event in August, up next is the $17k Gold Rush Edition, now live from September 11 to September 16. Here’s how you can take part in this new reward-packed campaign.
What Is Sleepagotchi’s Gold Rush $PIXEL Event?
Gold Rush is a new $PIXEL-based, play to earn event in Sleepagotchi Lite, where players can collect Gold Coins to climb to the top 1000 on the leaderboard in order to earn a share of the 500k $PIXEL prize pool, said to be $17k worth of rewards at the time this event started.
While collecting Gold Coins, you can also collect Hero Cards from Gacha packs in order to boost your rewards, as Hero Cards come with useful multipliers to further help increase your chances of ranking high enough for a bigger share of token prizes. Basically, you’ll want to focus on getting as many Gold Coins and Hero Cards as you can during the limited timeframe if you want to top the rankings, and you do that by simply playing the game and opening Gacha packs.
This campaign kicked off on September 11 at 4 PM UTC and ends on September 16 at 4 PM UTC. If you like reward-packed leaderboard events, then here’s how you can get started with participating in this one.
How to Play to Earn in Gold Rush $PIXEL Event
To be eligible to play to earn in the Gold Rush $PIXEL event, you will need to make a purchase of at least $1.99 within the Sleepagotchi Lite game and unlock constellation level 10 (Frostwolf). This is not to be confused with the main sleep-based game which underwent a big app preview earlier this year on Android and iOS.
The Lite version is only available as a browser-based game using a Telegram or LINE account and is the only edition you need to play and spend $1.99 in for this event while unlocking constellation 10. With those two requirements met, you can start participating by simply playing the game and completing Personal Challenges and Clan Challenges to earn Gold. You can create a new clan for this event if you want to. The more Gold you earn, the better your chances of ranking among the top 1000 players on this event’s leaderboard.
Players who have spent at least $1.99 before the event started do not need to spend the amount again.
To access the game, which on its own is free to play, head on over to the official website for the Lite version and log in using either Telegram or LINE to start playing on your browser.
If you head to the in-game shop by clicking on the farthest bottom-right button, you’ll find a Gems bundle for $1.99, which you can purchase using USDC.e on the Soneium network. Gems is a premium in-game currency used for in-game purchases, and the shop can be switched to paying in $ASTR on Soneium or $PIXEL on Ronin, but you’ll want to make sure you’re spending at least $1.99 to meet one of this event’s participation requirements.
Before doing that though, you’ll probably want to focus on reaching constellation 10.

In this game, each constellation represents a set of separate levels or stages that you play through to earn rewards such as Gold while completing the constellation’s challenge unlock the next one. To play these levels, you need to place at least 1 hero to start a challenge. Your heroes do have to be the minimum required level to play a certain level though. If they are, simply place them in the available slots to send them on the challenge. Clicking on a slot will only display the heroes eligible for that spot. The better your heroes, the higher the chances you win. After waiting for a certain amount of minutes, you’ll find out if your heroes were successful on their adventure, and if they were, you win the rewards that are presented to you before starting the level. You can send heroes to the same constellation again if you want to in order to get more rewards until the reward limit is reached for that level.
Essentially, it’s pretty easy to get to constellation 10; you just have to send heroes and wait it out each time with the hopes that they'll come back with a win. It may take some time though, because one win is not enough to unlock the next constellation depending on the objective given to you. You can however send heroes on multiple missions, so if you have any spare Hero Cards, you don’t have to wait for one level to be completed but can just put the idle ones to use instead. Whenever you’re waiting for your heroes to come back from their adventure, you have the option to speed up the process using Gems. The further you progress through the game, the longer the waiting times will be, but the rewards do get better to balance things out.
To get more heroes, make sure to use up the free Gacha spin every 8 hours to get 5 Hero Cards per Gacha pack. If you get a Rare, Epic, or Legendary Card, you get yourself reward multipliers. Rare Hero Cards provide a 0.1% boost, Epic Cards give outa 0.6% multiplier, while Legendary Cards increase your score by 3%.
To check your leaderboard standing, you will have to use this dedicated event page, as the in-game leaderboards are separate from this play to earn campaign. The winner of this event will secure 52.5k $PIXEL tokens, while 2nd place walks away with 43.5k $PIXEL and 3rd place snags 34.5k $PIXEL tokens.
In order to make sure you can receive your $PIXEL prize if you rank in the top 1000, you will have to submit your Ronin wallet to the game’s Telegram bot dedicated to checking wallet addresses. You can only send self-custodial addresses, so you cannot use exchange addresses. If you participated in an event before and submitted your wallet address back then, you will still have to submit it again through the Telegram bot. Past players need to do this again as a result of previous bot activities that the Sleepagotchi Lite team has had to deal with.
