What Is The Lost Glitches?

The Lost Glitches is a strategic TCG with an RPG twist, powered by Offchain Labs’ Xai network and available for download on Windows and Mac as a free to play title through the Epic Games Store. Made by Honig Studios and published by Mimunga, the indie gaming studio aims to deliver next-gen card gaming by creating a TCG and RPG hybrid that is backed by blockchain technology in order to enable true ownership of in-game assets and enable player to player trading, providing a unique blockchain gaming experience.

This game is set in a cyberpunk universe and features highly-detailed card art coupled with unique gameplay that combines deckbuilding with RPG elements in the form of character progression. This means that as you play and collect a variety of new cards (of which there are more than 300!), you also get to upgrade your character’s unique abilities to use them to your advantage in intense, tactical card battles. There are characters from different factions to choose from, each tailored to a different kind of playstyle.

How to Play to Airdrop in The Lost Glitches

To play to airdrop the $MEMORY token in The Lost Glitches, you will need to collect Memory Fragments. You can collect Memory Fragments through gameplay and convert them into soulbound Shards. These Shards represent the soulbound version of the $MEMORY token, and having as many of them as you can should eventually reward you with an airdrop of the $MEMORY token through the Loberis Protocol. The Loberis Protocol is a web3 onboarding system that is integrated into the game in order to make it easy for all gamers to use the token and enjoy the game without needing to know anything about crypto.

Essentially, by playing ranked PvP matches and winning them, you earn Memory Fragments. As you play, you also get to increase your PvP rank, which influences the number of Memory Fragments you earn. The higher your rank, the bigger the rewards for each win.

Next to PvP, you can also earn Memory Fragments through extraction. Extraction is a passive earning system that stacks Memory Fragments for you as you’re casually checking out your card collection or simply leaving the game running in the background. You’ll notice the extraction progress bar fill up over time, allowing you to claim the Memory Fragments from this system once it reaches 100%. While PvP gives much more than extraction does, the passive system is there to give you a neat little boost to your earnings. Players get to rank on a leaderboard based on the amount of Memory Fragments collected, so you’ll want to collect as many of these while time remains. You can claim your earned Memory Fragments every 24 hours through the game’s official website, where you can also claim exclusive collectibles.

The web3 game uses a seasonal system that awards soulbound Shards. Each season lasts 1 month, and if you managed to collect more than 5 Memory Fragments during that season, you will be able to claim soulbound Shards at the end of the season.

What Is the $MEMORY Token?

The $MEMORY token is described as being a unique in-game utility token that will provide access to advanced features and exclusive benefits in The Lost Glitches ecosystem. Specifically, $MEMORY will be used to craft NFT cards, buy cosmetics, NFT Booster Packs, Physical Booster Packs, in-game Credits (hard currency), and tournament tickets for special competitions. You will also need the token to purchase access to special battle passes and exclusive content, as well as use it to reroll or upgrade cards, and to trade unique NFT cards on the secondary market.

Details on how and when players will be able to convert soulbound Shards to $MEMORY does not seem to be available at the time of writing, nor is there a TGE date for the token either.
