Immortal Rising 2 has kicked off The Path of Ascension Launchpool Season 2 on December 20th, giving everyone until January 9th an opportunity to play to airdrop for free. Here’s everything you need to know about this season and how you can participate to get your share of $IMT before the token officially goes live.

What’s New in Immortal Rising 2 Launchpool Season 2?

The second season that is part of the Path of Ascension P2A Campaign features a total reward pool of 50 million $IMT tokens up for grabs for the highest-ranked players across 2 tracks: ORB Impact Track (25 million $IMT), and the Soulbound Token Track (up to 25 million $IMT). The 50 million $IMT prize pool represents 5% of the token’s total supply. 7% of the token’s supply has been allocated for airdrops.

How do you rank your way to the top of these tracks? By collecting soulbound tokens (SBTs), ORBs, and checking in every day. The more SBTs and ORBs you collect and the higher your check-in count, the bigger your campaign score, just like in Season 1.

That being said, this new competitive period builds upon the previous season by introducing new check-ins, new milestones to complete, and new daily missions to beat. By checking in every day and completing in-game missions, you get to collect SBTs, of which there are 40+ to earn during this season. You get 1 SBT for every day that you check-in, while getting bonus SBTs for achieving milestones, which revolve around making daily check-in streaks of 7, 14, and 30 days in a row. Each of these milestones gets you one additional SBT per completed milestone. The SBTs from daily check-ins should remain available until TGE.

By completing in-game missions throughout this period, you can get another 8 SBTs, according to the official blog post.

While the ORB Impact Track is available until TGE and features a mix of social and gameplay-related tasks, with more added over time, the in-game missions from the Soulbound Token Track are only available during this season, which runs until January 9th. The daily check-in however will continue to work until TGE, with $IMT planned to officially launch at some point in Q1 2025. The more players check in every day, the bigger the Soulbound Token Track. It's currently at a 15 million $IMT pool with around 111k daily active users, but the pool can go to 25 million $IMT if the playerbase grows to 150k.

How to Start Playing in Immortal Rising 2 Season 2 Airdrop Campaign

If you’re a returning player from Season 1 who pre-registered and claimed the Immortal’s Awakening SBT, then you’re good to go right ahead into the game.

For new players looking to jump in Season 2, you will need to set up and connect your Immutable Passport to your Immortal Vault account, and make sure your game profile is linked to the Immortal Vault account. Simply head on over to the game’s official website and sign in using your Immutable Passport, Google, or Apple account. This will set up an Immortal Vault account for you. If you go with the latter two options, do make sure to link up your Immutable Passport so you can properly access your rewards later on.

With that done, download Immortal Rising 2 on Android or iOS for free through the Play Store or App Store respectively, and create your game account using the same Immutable Passport to start enjoying idle RPG gameplay in a dark fantasy world. Do make sure to go back to the game’s website to check if your game account got automatically connected with the Immortal Vault profile by heading to your account page found by clicking on the top right corner and heading to the “Managed Account” section of the dropdown menu.

Make sure you are using the same Immutable Passport for both the in-game and Immortal Vault accounts, in order for the system to be able to find an account that uses the same Immutable address. This will make it possibly to verify the completion of game-related missions, in turn allowing you to claim rewards such as SBTs on Immutable zkEVM. Anyone who doesn’t have an Immutable Passport can easily create it via email or a social sign in option that also include Google and Apple.
