Season 1 of Notcoin’s Telegram game VOID is now officially live as part of their Not Games gaming platform, giving players an opportunity to play and earn exclusive skins for free.

What’s New in VOID Season 1?

Season 1 moves away from the old modes in Season 0 that enabled bots and AFK games, and instead introduces ranked matches and leagues for real and engaged VOID players to compete and earn rewards in.

Speaking of rewards, players are now encouraged to play every day as doing so comes with daily rewards. Specifically, it’s now possible to earn slimes from match wins, lootboxes, and daily rewards. Slimes are varied items that can give you abilities such as a temporary shield, the option to freeze enemies, and more. Lootboxes are awarded for climbing the leagues. You can work your way up the ranks by increasing your rating, which is of course done by winning matches. Losing however can deduct rating points, so it won’t be an easy journey to the top. There are a total of 5 leagues to progress through: Earth, Orbital, Star, Galactic, and Universe League. The higher the league you’re in, the harder it gets, but the goodies from lootboxes get better and better. You can expect ranked leagues to be here to stay for future seasons as well.

In this game, lootboxes are on-chain assets that you can open or trade with other players. If you open them, you are rewarded with exclusive skins. These skins can be equipped in-game to stand out from other competitors, but you’re also able to trade the cosmetics if you so choose to. This means that lootboxes and skins come in different rarities, and both are actually available in limited supply. They are also only available during this season only, so the same skins likely will not be possible to earn in the future.

If you’re looking for some competitive mobile gameplay and a chance to win potentially valuable lootboxes and skins while having fun, then this season is one you’ll want to jump into, and you can do so for free. Here’s how you can get started!

How to Play and Earn in VOID Season 1

To play and earn in VOID Season 1, you can get started by heading to the game’s official Telegram bot linked under the official launch announcement on X. From there you can gain access to announcements, the official chat channel, and the game itself.

If you’ve played or seen popular browser games like agar.io, then you’re already familiar with how VOID works. You move around and consume colored blobs to grow yourself bigger, while eating other smaller players to get even bigger and increase your chances of winning the match.

You can also use various different items and upgrade skills to help you secure victory. Items include a varied set of slimes which act as useful abilities that can help you win matches. There are freeze slimes, shield slimes, spike slimes, respawn slimes, and respawn slimes that save your mass. You can get these slimes as daily rewards and you can buy them through the game’s store using Telegram Stars. Skills, or perks, can be upgraded using VOID points earned from doing social tasks and playing matches. With enough points, you can make upgrades that increase your speed and starting mass, while lowering cooldowns for slimes so that you can get another shield up faster or have a lower cooldown time for freezing enemies.

Each match has 15 players battle it out for the top 3 spots, but you still have a chance of earning rating points even if you don’t end up among the best 3 players. Winning matches or finishing in the top 3 or in the top half could be rewarded with slimes and more rating points to help you climb your way to the next league, with the winner possibly getting a lootbox. Each league differs in the number of rating points needed to play in it. Everyone starts from zero in the Earth League, and if you manage to get 200 rating points, you’ll progress to the Orbital League, and so on.

Overall, by simply enjoying the casual gameplay in a competitive system, you can play and earn tradable lootboxes and skins for free. Season 1 kicked off on May 19 with no official end date, so if you want to earn some exclusive skins, then be sure to jump in Notcoin’s Telegram game VOID for free while there’s still time to earn limited prizes from this new season.
