Season 2 of Cyber Crash is now live, opening up a new competitive period in which blockchain gamers can play and earn NeonX points across a number of different categories and have them eventually converted into the $CCC token if players meet a specific requirement.
What Is Cyber Crash?
Cyber Crash is a strategic turn-based RPG set in a cyberpunk-themed world. Players assemble squads of heroes and use different formations to engage in both PvP and PvE battles. The game features more than 100 anime-inspired characters, each with distinct abilities and upgrade paths that can be strengthened through progression and resource use.
The title is available as a free to play mobile game for Android and can be downloaded through the game’s official website as an APK file, with PC players able to play via an emulator. Alongside the main 3D game, there is also a browser-based companion app referred to as Cyber Forge that allows players to summon and stake Hero NFTs to earn the utility and governance token $CCC, for which TGE took place in late August after the release of the game’s whitepaper. Players can also accumulate NeonX points in the main game, which, when paired with World Contribution Value (WCV) earned through community tasks, can be converted into $CCC.
After the end of Season 1 on September 24, which featured 2 million NeonX points up for grabs for almost 2 weeks (extended from its initial 6-day scheduled period), we now have this third new season (there was a Season 0) live from September 25, 04:00 UTC. Here’s what’s new and how you can compete while there’s still time.

What’s New in Cyber Crash Season 2?
Season 2 introduces a 1.7 million NeonX prize pool to compete for across 5 categories, while bringing in a new Gem system, a new gameplay mode called Orient Express, and 2 new combatants: a support class called Kathrine·Dirty Gold and an assault class character called Saki·Suzaku, both of which come with an increased drop rate for a limited time.
The 1.7 million NeonX prize pool is 300k lower than the one found in the previous season and is allocated across the following categories:
- Recruit Ranking: 986k NeonX for the top 300 (58% of prize pool)
- Real-time Combat Power Ranking: 238k NeonX for the top 400 (14% of prize pool)
- Gem Points Ranking: 238k NeonX for the top 200 (14% of prize pool)
- Newbie Combat Power Leaderboard: 119k for the top 100 (7% of prize pool)
- Daily Chest: 119k (7% of prize pool)
The biggest portion of this season’s reward pool goes towards Recruit Ranking, which you can climb by using combatants from the recruitment pool. If you do, you’ll get leaderboard points from them, and there is no restriction to this recruitment pool, in which the character Taki Seiryu has now become a part of permanently. As long as you use recruits, you’ll be earning points to climb the ladder, with the quality of these characters determining how many points you actually get.
The Combat Power Ranking is all about increasing your power level, which is done by simply making your squad as strong as possible, and the same goes for the Newbie Power Leaderboard, except that ladder is only available to new accounts registered after September 24, 16:00 UTC.
The Gem Points Ranking is a new ladder not present in the previous season, and is the only leaderboard in this season that distributes rewards every day. It basically seems to boil down to collecting as many Gems as you can, which you can do through the game’s Discord server as Gems is the points system in their server that can unlock in-game benefits, whitelists, and possibly more.
In the game itself is now a new Gem system where you can now put all those collected points to use before they expire by the end of the season. You can now spend Black Diamonds to level up Gems and slot them into the Gem Gear of a combatant to upgrade their base stats. Each character has up to 10 unlockable gem slots to make use of, and Gems that are at least level 6 can now be traded or recycled for Black Diamonds and NeonX. Gems of this level or higher that don’t get used by the end of the season will be automatically converted into Black Diamonds.
The new gameplay mode, Orient Express, challenges players to take down as many enemies as possible to try and prevent them from causing irreparable damage to humanity while earning rewards along the way.
How to Play and Earn in Cyber Crash Season 2
To participate in Season 2 of Cyber Crash, players need to download and install the open beta version of the game on Android via an APK file from the official website. While no PC client is available, the developers suggest using an emulator, with BlueStacks being their recommended option.
Once logged in with an email account, players can earn NeonX points through daily chests and leaderboard competition. Next to earning NeonX from opening daily chests and getting as many Gem points each day, the season also includes 3 more gameplay-focused leaderboards to climb: Recruit Ranking, Real-Time Combat Power Ranking, and a Newbie Combat Power Leaderboard for new players focused on raising overall squad strength.
You’ll probably want to initially focus on progressing through the PvE campaign to get used to the game’s mechanics and unlock additional cards, skill codes, and materials to help you build up a strong side for PvP.
The primary focus in each of this game’s seasons is to earn NeonX points, an in-game points system that lets you convert your efforts into $CCC tokens, provided you have an equal amount of World Contribution Value (WCV). WCV can be obtained by completing community-related tasks or by recharging energy through the official website using $CCC or USDT, with 1 $CCC equating to 2 WCV.
Cyber Crash is made by Pangu Software, the same developers who you might know as the team behind blockchain MMORPG MetaCene. The $CCC token seems to currently only be available on the BNB Chain via PancakeSwap, with the official roadmap stating plans to get the token listed on centralized exchanges in Q4 2025, as well as plans to bring cross-chain support for it while launching a multi-chain version of the game in the same quarter.
