PlanetQuest has just unveiled access to the Outposts early game preview. Outposts is a browser-based planet management strategy game. In this preview, the team would be focusing on enhancing the new player experience. This would involve going through the first 3 days of the gameplay loop to engage and enjoy the game. Each participant would be starting with a Dwarf Planet and then complete a streamlined onboarding session.

The team included a number of improvements to the gameplay such as redefining missions and adding factions. Actions have now been converted to missions which is a deeper and more encompassing experience. This has further expanded the drone usage enabling more freedom in approaching tasks. Additionally, new planet events have been introduced to offer exciting bonuses to players.

The team also appreciated the contributions from the community that played a key role in the development of Outposts. The fully filled-out feedback forms inspired the revamp done to a number of game systems by the developers.

Planet Giveaway and Spot Reservations

As participants await the newest preview, PlayQuest has decided to set up various activities granting players a chance to win something great. The team has created a brand new landing/countdown page for players to register and reserve their spot in the upcoming Playtest. By signing up for the Early Access Preview, players would automatically be registered for a giveaway session. This would grant them a chance to win the Epic Planet on which PlanetQuest: The Graphic Novel takes place worth $25,000.

In addition, the player who wins the prized planet would be allowed to name it whatever they wish. That name would then become immortalized forever in PlanetQuest Lore. Participants can also get more entries for the giveaway whenever they refer someone who joins through their invite link. However, participating in the giveaway without playing the Outposts would not be enough to win the prized planet.
